Frustrating ExperienceBeen going to Family Care Specialists Medical Group for a few years – and it’s been ok – but my experience today was so frustrating I am switching my PCP.
On Saturdays they only take walk ins so I arrived at 8:30 when they are supposed to be open.
They opened a half hour late and did not explain why – as they were there earlier.
They took my co-pay and I sat to wait.
Keep in mind that I am tremendously sick, and have my two small children with me.
After 75 more minutes of waiting they call me to the desk and tell me the doctor did not show up and they can refer me to urgent care if I want.
So many things wrong with this experience.
I understand emergencies happen to everyone including doctors so it’s certainly possible the doctor had a valid reason for not showing up but there was no communication with me at all until I had been waiting for close to 2 hours in total from when they were supposed to open.
Retrain her on customer service
I called literally 5 minutes ago. Lady on the phone was rude, sounded bothered and miserable. Not a good look on the Doctor. Suggestion? Retrain her on customer service

I usually don’t do this but this clinic is amazing. I always see Dr. Tarin , she’s an amazing dr. She always answers all my questions very knowledgeable – Everyone is so nice and helpful Today, I went in because I needed some papers sign to go back to work,
and just my luck Dr. Tarin was not there but thanks to Cristal she went out of her way to ask another dr. to sign them for me. I swear if it wasn’t for Cristal I don’t know what I would have done. Thank you so much Cristal , your the best ! I love coming to this clinic.
