I shop online very frequently and have tried many websites. But there was no one as bad as Temu. It is one of the most frustrating e-commerce companies ripping people apart in the name of heavy discounts.

As a first-time shopper, they offer you enticing deals such as free shipping and discounts after the products are shipped. But for me, it was a nightmare. I have been calling customer care for months, and they have been trying to ignore me like maniacs. I feel so bad about choosing this website in the first place.

The order dates back to February. It was my friend’s birthday, and I wanted to buy a few things for her. When I came across this website, it gave me this spin-a-wheel thing to get some discounts. And I was excited as they have even $100 listed on that spin wheel.

Trust me, and all these are baits to get as many customers as possible. But these people are scammers. They will ask you to buy and avail discounts which can only be redeemed after the shipment.

So, I placed orders for a few things that cost me around $1200. I did pay for the orders online, and they all were successfully identified. After a few days, when my shipping was scheduled, I went on the app to track my orders, and to my disappointment, I could not see anything. The charges were gone as if they had vanished.

I was terrified. I tried to log out and log in and even checked my email address for a reminder of my payment made for those orders. The first thing I did was connect with these people. They have this chat option on their website. And they do not rely on time.

I tried reaching them out through their chat option. After waiting around 10 minutes, the window popped up with someone asking for my details. I explained everything, and they offered me a callback.

I waited for the next two days and never received any call from Temu. So, I again used the chat window to connect with the support team. They said that they could not see any complaint made through my account. They gave me a number to reach out to.

Next thing, as you would expect, I called them immediately. But the number was busy, and it took me over three hours to finally get hold of someone. The person on the phone line asked for all my details. This was the third time I was repeating myself. But as you know, you cannot have any option when you are at the receiving end.

The guy said he could not find any details of my orders on his system and would require more time to process the data to understand the problem. After this, I never received any update about the situation. I was already so frustrated, but I wanted to get over this.

So, waiting around a week, I finally tried the number again. This time also, the wait wasn’t that easy. For more than 2 hours, I could hear the busy line. But I knew I had to try and try again. That was the only way to speak to a human from Temu.

When connected, the guy told me they had been looking into the matter and refunded the amount. I did like the refund amount as I did not trust them for my orders. The problem was I wanted to know why my orders got canceled in the first place.

But the support never told me why the orders vanished into thin air, just like that. Forget about the discount or offer I received; it did not make sense then. I had to buy the gift from the usual website I prefer.

They do have limited items to sell, but they are very professional, and never have there been a time I had to go through even a tiny bit of the hassle.

But Temu is the worst. They do not have a good website or a customer support team that wants to help. They want to make profits, and that is all. Talking about the refund, I never got any money back. It has been over a month, and I have been waiting for the refund.

What is this nonsense? I have never seen any online store making customers call so many times for a problem. Primarily a problem created by the store itself. Their app does not work. They are harassing people. They keep making these mistakes, as many reviews talk about the same scam.

If you want to save yourself from all these hassle and headaches, do not buy anything from Temu. They will rip you off. These scammers have the nerve to send me promotional messages and emails after everything they did to me. I will report them if they do not refund my money sooner.

I have been very patient with them. But these people do not deserve a customer like me. They do not deserve any of us. We all should boycott Temu for good. Or else, they will keep fu***ing with everyone and post fake reviews to show how great these guys are.

Stay away from Temu. Do not get carried away with the pictures of those lovely items available cheaply. You won’t get your orders. Even if you do, they will make the process lengthy and unbearable—a scammer and nothing else. Do not buy anything from Temu. The website should be taken off as soon as possible.
