David Choi Was quick
I recently moved from NY to seek an expert because I was dealing with two different states.
Samuel B Choi Accountancy was recommended by my friends.
I was impressed with their professionalism, especially since they could accommodate me last-minute.
David Choi was speedy. Yes, he entered the information into the computer and was done.
It was a great feeling to know that I would get a large amount back in my refund. Yeah.
A month later, I received a letter from NY state stating that I owed nearly $1000.
What?!?! For years, I haven’t received any payment on my return. It’s ridiculous.
I emailed David and was informed that David was not available for May. Ok. I sent it to the email address. Nothing.
After a few days, I was transferred to Samuel Choi. Samuel was able to find the issue.
David did not indicate that I was not in a Yonker home.
Samuel said that I was now getting a little bit more money back. Nice.
One month later, I received a second notice from the NY IRS. WTF.
I called the NY IRS and discovered that Samuel had not completed a section.
Excuse me? Is it possible to complete the same thing again? Seriously.
I reached out to the office. David Choi responded and informed me that they had completed the section and that I did indeed have to pay.
I have to pay slightly more than what the IRS quoted.
David suggested that I pay the IRS what they ask and not send the revised document. Fine.
David was gracious and understanding. Lucky me, he offered to discount my next service.
Unfortunately, that’s not something I will ever be able to redeem.
