Loose a lot of money for nothing

Really these guys make a lot of money and are, in my opinion, border line to criminal. I was with them for more than 10 months regarding two collection agencies that hit my credit score very bad. I hired them in the hopes to resolve it as i have no clue why and what these were. Nothing absolutely nothing happened.

They have some automated setting for sending some standard mails out to these people and will email you what they have done on your behalf that is sending out “one size fits all” mails to who knows who. They were not able to prove me once that they received once a reply from anyone. They might also tell you that they have disputed it with the credit agencies. Do not believe that as they can not mail you a prove of it.

In my case after being frustrated I called and mailed all the creditors. It turned out that it was regarding a speeding ticket (5miles/h over the limit) related 5 years back where they had the wrong name and address of that person. The best part is that both collection agencies were after the same unresolved issue.

I have no clue why it shoed up related to my SS. Anyhow, I called the experian credit bureau, explained the situation and they immediately tool one down right there and disputed the other one and a week later both were gone and my credit score jumped 130 points up. It took me two days, 4 phone calls and two mail interaction to resolve this.

WOW! Based on my personal opinion, and experience I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT(!) TO GO TO LEXINGTON LAW! I believe you will loose a lot of money for nothing.

  1. Do not use them ever!

I am unable to afford them at the moment and when I called to cancel and to get a refund they denied me that right because they said that had done work on removing some of my accounts from my credit report.

They take your money and could care less. The customer services is horrible. I would not recommend them to anybody. I saw maybe two things come off and have been attempting to cancel for a month and can never get anyone or anywhere! Do not use them ever!

  2. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Scam…. They will lie to you when you sign up and when you cancel they will continue to charge you saying you never called. They did nothing for me… And from what I’ve read they have aparently done this to alot of people… DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

  3. Please DO NOT USE this guy.

Rip off Alert I did some investigating this company is linked to they get money from you and then link you to Lexington Law they take money and give you the run around this is a scam between the two sites promise you a rent to own house for very little money. they post on craigslist.

I gave them one star because they mastered the art of robbing to another level, so if you choose to deal with them enter at your own risk. FYI they payed a few people on here to post 5 star reviews.

  5. They don't do anything to help you.

They don’t do anything to help you. All they do is take your money and contact the credit bureaus with disputes asking to prove if it is correct. They have done this 3 times now. Nothing to help my credit. I spend $500 to $700 dollars that could of gone to my credit. It is a scam.

I never received updates or anything, no contact about anything. It has been almost 6 months since I signed up and nothing. My credit score has actually gone down because of them sending things off to credit bureaus.

  6. Their customer service agents are rude and not helpful.

My credit score went DOWN over 40 points in one week after I signed up for a trial with Lexington Law. I asked to cancel my $109/month account and they refused to refund the payment that had been taken from me 6 hours prior to my cancellation. Their customer service agents are rude and not helpful.

  7. In fact my credit score was made worse.

Fortunately you have a couple of stand out employees, that for a while can carry the load of being gracious: Victoria and Richard are the two of them — supervisors that have earnestly tried to help me. I appreciate their time and efforts. It might be useful for others to train under them, especially for good communication skills which are always the most important aspect of building a stellar company, this I can see is sorely lacking in others at the top.

Please see your email below so you can review what you sent and how it might feel to be in the receiving end of this toxic dismissal after a very, very long winding road that led nowhere to help me with the one and only removal I had requested. This remains unresolved in two credit reporting agencies. In fact my credit score was made worse.

  8. I just signed up with them.

I just signed up with them. I will try it for a month and see if they really are a scam or not. I will update.

  9. Bad Services.

I fund the capital gaining process very confusing at Lexingtonlaw.com. I couldn’t really understand what the process was about and thus chose not to deal with this company again.

  10. This place is a complete scam.

This place is a complete scam. Originally called to sign up my fiancé and the enrollment person inured e we could sign up together at a discounted rate of 119 in stead of just paying 100$ for him by himself. THAT’S ALL HE SAID. the next month i got charged 239$.

When i called they refused to refund insisting i was a liar and their enrollment reps are scripted so he did infect tell me this. The charged me another 80$ to cancel and refused to let me cancel my fiancees account that gets lied to MY CREDIT CARD. Oh ad i had to call in and finish my own dispute o e nearly 319$ they basically robbed me off.

  11. they still want to charge my payment for service that they haven't done.

I been paying Lexington Law for the last 5 Month, today I call to close the account do to no changes has been made to my account, yes. one change my credit scord whent down , they are telling me they having be aneble to do anything because they have missing paperwork ,

I have spoken with them for the lat 5 month and they have mention anithyng a bout missing paperwork. Now they are telling me that I have to pay one more payment. I’m cancelling the service a week in advance but they still want to charge my payment for service that they haven’t done.

  12. The worst company!

The worst company! They do not provide service. My credit actually went down. I tried to file a complaint and get my money back and they shut me down. This company is a scam and a fraud.

  13. I signed up for this services.

I signed up for this services. I started with the top plan which has me thinking that the more I pay the faster they will work on my behalf well yeah! Right!. I paid the $125ish for about 2 or 3 months while I monitor my account to see if they’re any changes occurring with my account. 2 weeks go by they sent my challenge letters, 1 month goes by nothing removed, 2 months go by nothing.

3 months nothing. 4 months and nothing. I canceled my account. I do think the drag out the process longer then what it needs to be to get more money out of the customer. I have called on more then one occasion and have been on hold longer 30 min until finally someone answered the phone.

  14. Absolutely freaking terrible.

Absolutely freaking terrible. Charged $130/month for 4 months straight and not a single item was removed. I could have literally gotten 4 negative items removed from my account by paying off the collections. Was told I would be entitled to partial refunds if I don’t see any results but got jack squat in the end.

  15. Lexington Law is Bad Service.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The first month was alright, but this month they took out 250 dollars for a 50 dollar a month service that I cancelled when I called they had nothing in their records about it, I call my bank they give me the money back.

I wake up this morning to another 117 dollars out of my account. And all in all I couldn’t get an answer about anything they actually did for me. Almost 500 dollars later I could have just paid the collectors and done more on my own.
