The worse experience ever.

Doing business with Hendrick Chevrolet dealership has been the worse experience ever. First of all, let me just say that I do not recommend them because they are very rude, unprofessional and shady.

I purchased a vehicle from this place on August 9th and when I attempted to make my first payment on September 6th, the finance company stated they had no record of my contract.

I reached out to the dealership and was then told they just needed to do a new contract so, I went back in and signed a new contract and thought everything was done.

A few days later I began getting calls from numerous people from the dealership stating that I needed to come in so I did.

When I arrived they sent out their very rude sales manager Andrew who then told me that my deal did not go through and I had to return the car.

I advised him that I would return it as soon as I could get my daughter’s belongings out. At this point he became belligerent and called me several racial slurs and got in my face.

Then he demanded that I return the vehicle after I had already told him I would bring it in, he threatened to call the police on me.

I then reached out to the general manger Tee Thomas who was just as bad and did nothing but lie. He claimed to have addressed the issue, but I assure you he did not.

The deal fell through because they failed to follow the guidelines specified by the finance company and they did not even acknowledge that they screwed up.

The manager had me come back in stating that he was going to fix it, but he did not.

Instead, he done nothing but lie and waste my time.

I am now out of money for registering and putting insurance on a vehicle that had to be returned.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE!

I ended up with 14 inquiries on my credit that I did not authorize and my credit score took a 29 point hit because of it.

I told them up front that I did not want my credit ran more than twice, but they done it anyway.

BUYERS BEWARE!! This place will do anything to get a sale, even if it is not on the up and up.

    Was looking at trucks to maybe trade in on for my Jeep. Lots of inventory. Kasey showed me around and gave me some good options to consider. When I’m ready to pull the trigger, I’ll definitely be back.

    No pushy sales tactics. Just folks looking to put you in a good vehicle. The car lots of the past are dead, and good riddance!

  2. Not only was this completely childish and annoying

    If there were another Chevrolet dealership that had what my husband and I wanted in stock we would not have spent our entire day trying to get a reasonable deal to buy a car. The process was the slowest experience of my entire life.

    They have this ridiculous thing where they clap loudly and annoyingly every time they sell a car to someone and make the buyer strike a gong in the sales office.

    Not only was this completely childish and annoying, but it was extremely embarrassing as well. Next time I am looking to purchase a vehicle I will hope and pray that I can find what I want somewhere other than this dealership.

    Even though the full amount went onto my car loan. It has been almost 3 months since I let them know of the refund and have heard nothing from them about them getting the money back to me. I will never shop at this horrible dealership again.

    Don’t waste your time. They will tell you they have a vehicle there and available then when you come in, the car is at another lot and you will have to pay a transfer fee if you want to look at it. Bait and switch is not the way to get customers.

    I came into Hendrick Chevrolet I my son was looking for his first car to get the client adviser was very helpful Devin Alexander Hendrick Chevrolet made it possible for my son to get his first car on his own. I would come back to Hendrick Chevrolet the staff was just friendly in the whole process.

    I see the photos are very helpful in my decision on come into this deanship they really want to make you feel like a family member and not a customer. I am happy to be part of the Hendrick Family now.

    They said they would bring it to Mobile. I began to feel real foolish and texted the salesman, “would you have let your mother take this deal?” His response was, “what do you mean?” I decided to cancel the deal and did.

    Now I cannot reach anyone at the dealership. They promised to mail my cash deposit in a check, but have not.

    Then he only wanted to offer half of what our car was worth. Again he asked how did we know what our car was worth. We are not idiots, we did our homework. Then he demanded we put a down payment and when we said no he got mad and wanted to know why. Very arrogant and condescending – a bully in fact.

  8. Don't waste your time! Management there has a real "I don't give a crap attitude"

    Don’t buy here! Within a period of two years we purchased 3 new automobiles and 1 used automobile at this dealership. Everything is fine until you need them to stand behind their cars..THEY DON’T ! We realized early on that we’d made a mistake buying from them and quickly traded 2 of the new cars and the used car we’d purchased on different manufacturers, but my wife decided to keep her Chevy Cruze that she purchased new in.

    She also purchased the extended warranty. She had to have the transmission repaired once and now with less than 50,000 miles the transmission is leaking again. Of course they want to charge her just to look at it. They are really criminal in their dealings and the cars they sell break down shortly after being purchased and whether you have warranty or not you have to FIGHT to get them to honor that warranty!

    I was contacted by Hendrick Chevrolet with a facsimile check for $38,000. I recently had been discharged from Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and they said they had a special program designed especially for prospective buyers like me.

    I drove to Hendrick from Mobile to right outside of Birmingham. They had one car for me to pick from (and my son said it had just been driven in).

    I walked in to buy a car from this dealership. I was greeted at the door nicely and was excited about my experience to begin. The 2 salesmen I spoke with were both incredibly rude, very depressing, very short with me. When I would point out something wrong with a car,

    one of them told me “Then just don’t buy it. I don’t know what you want me to tell you.” I left immediately. They were CLEARLY not motivated to sell cars or to be remotely nice to their potential clients. I was very mad when I left with the poor quality of help and assistance I received. (or lack there of)

    Bait and switch. They advertised a truck with 55k miles and good price at $ 18k, but it wasn’t on the lot. I called about it, and several days later they called back saying that it was at the Hoover Chevrolet dealer. I made an appointment to see the truck, but when I got there they could’d find the truck.

    While they were looking for the original truck, the salesman was looking at their other inventory, and found another truck with 63k miles, but was a loaded up model at $23k.

    I told the salesman I wasn’t interested in paying that much more. They then went through the apologies for not having the original truck, and they offered and I bought the second truck out the door for $1 9.5k.

Long story short this company have horrible customer service and extremely bad business ethics. This company tried and charge me 1500.00 to transfer the car to this State.

    I called the place where the car was coming from and there sister store stated that they do not charge a transfer fee to deliver to there dealership only to your home. This took a week for delivery but of course I was mislead into thinking that one of there drivers will go and get the car and it will take 2 to 3 days. So, I place 500.00 down to complete this transaction and once it got here, the company sold the car!!??

I drove a car I purchased from them for almost three months and never received my payment information from the financing company I was supposedly approved through. I called everyday for them to not return my calls. I had just had a baby, but when I was finally able to go up there,

    They were acting all confused like they didn’t know what car I was talking about, to have me wait over 30 minutes to come back and tell me that the financing company didn’t approve my loan for the car. I also, had traded my car in which they had never paid off so my car was out for repossession due to them not communicating with the financing company.

    BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do NOT buy from this dealership. The sales reps are worthless liars, which I know that’s how they entice and trap people into buying their cars. My husband went to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, after much searching.

    Once he got up there, he test drove the vehicle, and noticed that the check engine light was on, which the sales rep told him that it was just for a recall, and that under Lemon Law that they were required to fix the truck to sell it.

    That was fine with us, and he stated that it would be guaranteed to be picked up no later than Wednesday, which is 4 days from the date that my husband signed papers to buy the truck.. He didn’t sign the title or give them their down payment because he didn’t see the sense in that since we weren’t getting the vehicle that day.
