Customer ServiceI had my first and only appointment with Dr. Shilpa Jain in March 2018.
My appointment was to get a renewal of my thyroid medication.
No tests were run at this office and I did not require a diagnosis.
The Dr asked me a ton of questions and took notes which I now understand was simply to be able to use a different insurance codes for each topic….resulting in a bill for that one appointment of a whopping $524!
That’s right, $524 for an appointment to get a prescription for hypothyroidism, something I’ve had for years.
I tried to work with the office to get my bill fixed and they always said they would work on it and get back to me.
They never followed through. I am now having to fight a bill with a collection agency over this insane charge.
What do I have to do to get my bill to reflect a normal office visit charge?! Customer service has been abysmal.
