Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep

This dealership is full of crooks and liars

This dealership is full of crooks and liars. Now we find out that the car we purchases a month ago, Airpark Dodge never even got the title from the other dealer, have never submitted it to MVD, lender, insurance, and have NOT released the title or loan of car we traded in.

This dealership has the most incompetent, worthless people in the sales and finance teams!!! Management is completely dismissive and nonchalant about the performance of their sales and finance team. No one knows who is supposed to do what and when. Seriously, run away and avoid this place!!!

We have attempted to reach the sales, finance, and manager of the dealership regarding this issue and we have not receive any response back. We have also spoken to Dodge Corporate and they have been unable to give us any answers as to why title has not been registered or transferred. We have attempted to speak to the title manager and no response back.

The dealership is now in violation of AZ statute 28-2060. Transfer of ownership by operation of lawWe will be suing the dealership now that our loan is on the line because of the dealership’s incompetence and we will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Avoid this dealership at all costs! It was one of the worst buying experiences that we have ever had. We found a car that we wanted but the dealership had to attempt to get it from Bill Luke. They assured us that they could get the car from Bill Luke but they needed to negotiate a deal first. We negotiated and came to an agreement and decided to go forward.

We get to the credit app and we told them specifically that we only wanted the credit run ONE time as we already had a pre-approval. Finance states “oh yeah it will only hit your credit once”.

Lie #1 – they ran it NINE times! They even went on to state that even if it runs through several banks, it would only count as one. Look out for them running multiple credit checks without your permission affecting your credit score.

Lie #2 – while we were discussing “meeting with the finance guy”, we suggested that they actually call Bill Luke to make sure the car was available. They assured us they were and that they could get the car that day or the next morning. Great! That was a lie. They never called.

Lie #3 – while signing the deal, we asked the finance guy if we were putting the cart before the horse since we had not had an answer from Bill Luke yet. No no no, he assured us that it was just small detail, they will get the car, they just have to figure what what they are trading with Bill Luke in order to obtain the car. That was a lie. Deal was signed, about to hand cash over and we ask him to check with the guy who was supposed to speak with Bill Luke. They come back and said “oh, we won’t be able to get it till Monday, their inventory guy doesn’t work on the weekend”.

So no we have a contract for a car that they don’t even know if it is available or if Bill Luke will even give it to them. We decided to rip up the contract and as we were about to leave they all scattered like cockroaches that had the light turned on. Dale in finance was very apologetic and swayed us to wait and see if he could personally make it right.

We went home and researched and found another car and asked if they could inquire about it. Lie #4. They assured us they were checking on it. Never heard back from them for two days. Obviously they were waiting on confirmation on the signed deal on a car at Bill Luke which they refused to deal with them on. They finally were able to obtain the other car which we had to redo all the paperwork as the deal had the wrong VIN.

They had the car for a week as my husband had to go out of town. We arrive to pick up the car and there was a ding on the door and they hadn’t even bothered to put on the brake and gas pedal accessories.

There is so much more, but I think you can get the jist that this dealership is full of liars and scammers. Worst I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of car buying. We are in the market for a Jeep Wrangler and we will be avoiding this dealership at all costs for this purchase. If you find yourself here, turn arou
nd!

  1. I would NOT feel safe taking my vehicle to Airpark Dodge again.

Took my Jeep in for warranty work. A week later my tire blew out while driving. They left the brake loose which caused it to rub a hole through the inside of the wheel. Very luck my family was not killed. They did pay for the repairs but never once apologized for the major mistake. I would NOT feel safe taking my vehicle to Airpark Dodge again.

  2. do not trust them! find another place!

horrible customer service @ service department. people like this is why dealerships/mechanics get a bad name and are one of the least trusted professions! stay away from this place…run and find another Jeep dealership not operated by this location – very dishonest environment, rude workers and they “stick it to you” every chance they get! these people will lie and cheat you at every turn. do not trust them! find another place!

  3. Sincerely a Disappointed Jeep Owner!

When you call to schedule an appointment, you’re lucky if your call is answered. If you manage to speak with an advisor, takes notes, or better yet, record your call. My experience for the last 5 appointments on 2 Jeep’s purchased new here (3 recalls, 2 maintenance), required a check-in time of 14 minutes minimum to almost 25 minutes.

Despite having set appointments for 4 of the appointments (and told I didn’t require one for an oil change), none of them went as promised. In fact one visit cracked the diesel fuel rails and took over a week for what started out as an oil change…nice! My visits have always provided an unwelcome surprise.

  4. Horrible dealership!

Horrible dealership! If you find the perfect car here, ask to have it transferred to a different dealership… the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had! I love Jeep and bought a car from Airpark about seven months ago which I immediately regret. The car was a 2011 pre-owned and certified grand cherokee that had ONLY one key, NO floor mats, and a “softball-size patch” of paint missing from the top exterior of my vehicle (that was never pointed out).

  5. Will see if I get satisfaction

As with other reviews, Airpark Finance is lacking in communicaion. For the past 4 weeks, my credit union, and I have called, emailed, faxed with no responses. This Finance Office, Brian, was informed I had a pre-approved loan with my credit union.

Regardless, he disregarded my request and sent out inquiries to various banks. I received information from my credit monitoring agency that 8 inquiries had been sent out. These were all without my auhorization as I have an alert and none of the banks heeded my alert!

I have reported this to the banks involved and credit reporting agencies asking how this was done And, in process to the banking consumer complaints and the Attorney General for these unethical practices.

I must say that Costco, the referral agency and my credit union have been great in communicating with the agency and myself to resolve this on m behalf. Will see if I get satisfaction

  6. WORST PLACE EVER..

WORST PLACE EVER.. I would not purchase anything there, they do not stand behind their word, or ever return phone calls. they are only about the sell , not the deal that goes along with it.

  7. we'll see how it goes.

I have had a nightmare experience dealing with this company on a used F350 that I bought. I bought the truck on Sunday May 13th. It has a 6L turbo diesel and was in really good condition as far as the interior and the motor only had 89K on it.

My first experience with buying the truck ended with me pulling off the lot with no gas in the truck.. OK fair enough, I filled it. $91. So I let that go because I was really happy about getting the truck. So, I came back to the dealership Tuesday to sign some paperwork and on the way home the truck overheated.

I stopped and had to put 2 gallons of coolant in and drove it home called the dealership advised them of the problem and they said go ahead and bring it back in the morning and we’ll check it out. So I drive all the way from Surprise to the dealership and get there at 7 am and waited in the service lobby. About 5 or 5 1/2 hours later they take my truck in to check it out.

  8. I am going to take this up to corporate and as far as up the ladder as I can.

Today I had a flat tire on the side of freeway in my 1 year old pro master. I decide I would go ahead and throw the flat on and finish my day. To my surprise I found the jack but all the tools to drop the tire and remove the tire are missing from the jack box. Even though the list says it’s included. At this point I’m forced to call a tow truck to change my tire.

Tow truck shows up and can’t change my tire because they don’t have the special wrench to drop the spare tire. At this point I have no choice but tow the truck to a tire shop and get a new tire. After $280 and 3 1/2 hours and back on the road. At this pony I’m livid so I call Chrysler and they basically told me theirs nothing they can do and I have to go buy the tools from dealer.

So I call the dealer where I bought my truck and they basically said too bad nothing we can do. This is completely unacceptable and is a safety concern. I am going to take this up to corporate and as far as up the ladder as I can.

  9. I made the drive for nothing. Nothing.

Some of the worst customer service (and I use this word with tongue in cheek) I have ever encountered. Once again they have disappointed me.

I drove from North Scottsdale to a set appointment to meet with Doug for a recall fix (again). Well surprise, Doug is no longer there – and guess what? No parts are available. I made the drive for nothing. Nothing.

  10. So clean up your advisors Airpark other than that you are an awesome dealership.

Airpark Chrysler Jeep has great technicians, efficient parts department and the manager is very very nice. But on the other hand, the service advisors are unknowledgable of the Chrysler product and of automotive service completely the advisors that worked with my family anyway.

His name was Brad and he was terrible then they put me with another advisor who was even worse! So clean up your advisors Airpark other than that you are an awesome dealership.

  11. I will NEVER go to them again.

I was completely taken by their service department. I had a window that didn’t work on my Chrysler and took it in to be fixed. When I left it, they said another window didn’t work, though it did when I dropped it off. They charged me an extremely high price for fixing two windows.

According to Chrysler headquarters, they charged me at the very high end of both parts and labor. But the worst thing is they said a window was broken when it worked perfectly fine when I dropped the car off. I will NEVER go to them again.

  12. This dealership supports the negative thoughts of a "used car salesman".

I was interested in one of their Jeep Grand Cherokee’s. Being an out of state buyer, I had planned to purchase the car and fly down from Minneapolis to drive it back. I talked with Damon the used car manager and told him I wanted to buy the car. Throughout the first day, I asked to see photos of possible flaws/damage to the vehicle which I had to ask for multiple times.

I only received them after contacting the general manager and telling him about the lack of customer service that I was experiencing. After getting the photos at of the end of the day, I told Damon that I wanted to buy the car and place a down payment.

  13. You will regret buy here if you need service!!!

BEWARE of this place!!!!!! Service at this dealership is PATHETIC!! 2 month old Jeep, radio not working properly. No support, solutions. Told me we don’t build the vehicles. You will regret buy here if you need service!!!

  14. Avoid Like The Plague!

Avoid Like The Plague! We bought a van from AirPark Dodge 7 years ago that turned out to be a lemon against our better judgement we decided to give them another chance because they had the vehicle that we were looking for. While working a deal on the vehicle it was sold out from under us. There are plenty of other dealerships in the Valley so save yourself some time and grief and shop elsewhere.

  15. This place is the worst.

Terrible service department. I am getting rid of my piece of junk Jeep so I never have to deal with this awful service again. Do yourself a favor and buy your car elsewhere. This place is the worst.
