Staff in HSBC Bank just don’t know what they are doing. Confused with HOW TO DEPOSIT AN INTERNATIONAL CHECK ( the process, the timeframe, if there is/not a bank charge, and if so the amount), showed no interest in helping customers with technical login complications, rude in attitude, inconsistent information, and lack of responsiveness.
I’ve spent way too much time with this terrible bank. It has been a nightmare if you try to resolve any issues (scam dispute, involving relationship manager who’s totally hands-off, has never reached out, and this branch would actually suggest ‘it’s not their job’ to help you resolve issues simply becoz you’re not their ‘case’; complications applying for a simply credit card and never heard back, etc etc.).
You WILL regret if you use them. You’re shooting yourself in the foot. Use other
