Monthly Subscription fees

I received an email advising that I will be billed a monthly subscription of $8.95 to be paid to this exclusivitystore.net.

There is a transaction date of 27th Dec 2017 and a order number #3643478 and the above subscription charge to be billed to my credit card.

I was shocked to receive such a billing and also that it is monthly recurring.

I immediately followed the instruction to send to [email protected] and received a message that this address was not found.

I also tried to go to the website and a red flag warning sign that this website is not safe, so I stopped there.

All these points to a malicious internet scam being operated.

And there is no way for me to reach them via online also points to a fake account.

  1. Exclusivity Scam email

    I received exactly the same email from Excusivity as above, claiming I was a member with a number and would be billed $8.95 per month. I have ignored it, not clicked on anything at all. I will watch my credit card carefully to see if $8.95 is deducted. I believe it is a scam, and would like to forward the whole email to a body to report it, but don’t know who I could forward it to.
    It is very authentic looking and many people will think it real.

      I will continue to relate on what I have found out about exclusivitystore.net since I posted this on dirtyscam.

      “This exclusivitystore.net website actually has sent 2 previous emails earlier to inform me of their deductions and I verified that there was deductions of 2 x $8.95 each month on my credit card for 2 past months already. In other words, they would send emails claiming/informing that these deductions is legitimate unless you cancel the “subscription” by contacting their email address or by international phone number listed on email.

      As their email address returns with a message showing the email account is unreachable due to email account being disabled, I would be left with contacting through the international number.

      When I dial this number, the other end was a voice message warning that this is not a toll free number when calling from outside of the United States of America. Meaning that it would puts most people off from calling as then the international dialling rates would be very high as such call usually has to wait for long time before someone comes on the line.

      The good thing is I have someone residing in the USA to call this hotline, put on speaker phone so that it appears that I am calling them direct.

      My acquaintance in the US also found out that the exclusivitystorenet website can be access from the US and is based in UK.

      So after holding the line for a long time, I was put in contact with one of their agent where I presented my case and request for cancellation.

      She promised to cancel and informed on this cancellation via email to me. I hold the line with my acquaitance till I received that cancellation email which will be my record to my credit card bank to stop all payments to this outfit.

      Few observations:

      1) I do not remember signing for any subscriptions which is a monthly recurring subscriptions using credit card- I don’t think I am that dumb. However there is a fine print that says that by using their service, we agree to their monthly subscription payment.

      2) From countries where there is no strong legal protection against website registered in UK, there may be loopholes where it can be exploited to scam people like us. There is no access to the websites nor their support email account and high IDD charges if calling their listed number. Obviously this is totally unacceptable and such behaviour cannot be of a ethical business organization.

      As of now, we still have not found out on where the entry point of entrapment occurs or links of any sister organization so as to warn more people to be wary of this subscription scam.

      Though there is an email on cancellation, I still am not sure whether that is the end of this saga with this exclusivitystore.net.

    I received an e mail advising me that $8.95 will be billed to me for a monthly subscription to exclusivitystore.net.

    The transaction date was the 12/08/2017 and was billed to my Credit card.
    Was a shocked when I realised that this is a recurring monthly payment.

    I e-mailed this company only for a message to be sent back saying the address could not be found.

    I have now put this into the hands of my Bank.

  3. Agreed - total scam

    I got the same email. Called the number and she started asking me for my personal information. I asked her what her business was and she insisted “we have a lot of businesses and we need your information before I look you up.” I told her she needs to take a good look at her life and how could someone do such an evil thing scaming people and to f-off.

  4. Absolute scam

    Thank you Wong for a very detailed report. I have exactly the same experience but have let i continue for far too long. Rather than try to call them, i shall hand the case over to my bank.
