  1. Do not respond to letters from this company. Do your filing directly with the goverment agency - You will save money

I received a letter from Workplace Compliance Services reminding me to pay my annual fee for my small business with the state of NJ. I usually get a renewal notice bill directly from the State of New Jersey in early April. This company is tricky. They sent their letter one week earlier with a due date of April 5th. So if I didn’t know better, I would have paid a $135 fee instead of only $100 if I paid directly to the state.

  2. Scam

Scam, although it looks official. It does state they are ‘not a government agency.’
    Don’t fall for it!

  3. 2019 Annua Report Instruction Form (New Jersey LLC)

Got a letter in the mail asking for $135.00. After calling them, the automated service indicated that they are a 3rd party services and if you have filled the annual report on your own, please disregard the notice. This is a scam artist trying to prey on people might not aware of these type of things. Workspace Compliance Services. Address 1977 N. Olden Ave Ext, #650, Trenton, NJ 06818.. Their customer service # (877) 770-3555. SCAM TACTICS and DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LETTER IN THE MAIL

  4. SCAM!

Received a scam letter in the mail from them and almost paid it before I noticed the line saying they are not an official government agency. Can’t believe people get away with this! Makes me so angry.

  5. SCAM/Misrepresentation of Colorado Periodic Reporting

They are scamming business owners by requesting $95.00 for a processing fee ($10 to the State and $85.00 for them to process). One can do their Periodic Report to the State of CO online for $10.00.
This company does not have a physical presence in Denver only a Post Office Box in Green Valley Ranch. Their contact #: (877) 770-3555 where the company is located in Lansing, MI.

  6. Thank you for letting people know

I received this notice WITHOUT a return address on the envelope. These people make their correspondence look official. DON’T FALL FOR THESE IDIOTIC SCAMS!!

  7. Clip Shop

Bogus scam operation trying to pass themselves off as legitimate compliance authority. Do not fall for this scam!0

  8. Always Read and Research Carefully before sending money. Dangerous Scam!

Received a letter in the mail from Workplace Compliance Services wanting me to send money right away. It looked real scammy so researched it. YEP-I was right, a big scam! Darn crooks anyway, how do they get our business addresses? If you get a form from Workplace Compliance Services, just toss it in the trash can and go to Colorado’s gov website and renew your business license there for a lot less money and hassle.

No, I did not send money, tossed the form in the trashcan!

  9. On the plus side, it was a helpful reminder

We got one of these official looking letters and it prompted me to go on-line and file our periodic report (~1 minute process). I didn’t even look through the whole form until later when I was throwing it away and I noticed it was from “Workplace…” and they wanted $95!

  10. Official looking but just a hand in your pocket

Total SCAM! Very official looking notice to file your business annual report. I filed mine a few days ago and almost thought I’d missed the price increase. They wanted $185 to file a report the state charges $100 for. $85 to do something that if you can’t do yourself, you shouldn’t be in business!

I called the number listed 877-770-3555 and was given an automated option to ask to be removed from their mailing list. I hope that works! Schysters!!
