Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Terrible DealingTerrible dealing with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Thank God for my realtor who went to bat for me and stuck by me through it or we would have walked away from the house.
Dealing with Anna who was in charge of getting all of my paper work together was a complete nightmare.
Completely unprofessional (not to mention unkempt). She misplaced papers, gave us false information as far as paying off a car loan to procure our mortgage, and negated to even tell us until the day before settlement that we had to pay down a separate car loan 3k in order to get the rate we had agreed upon.
Swore she told us but when confronted with the paper work, lengthy email chain I kept, and phone call documentation, didn’t have much to say.
Ended up pushing back our settlement date because she couldn’t perform her job correctly.
The entire process was a nightmare. Go somewhere else if you need a mortgage.
not Wells Fargo's customer.
At this point, I escalated to the Office of the President at Wells Fargo and received a call from Nicholas Franck. Apparently an executive “Resolution Specialist”. After being presented with the evidence showing that Wells Fargo had dropped the ball,
he essentially washed his hands of the situation and was sure to tell me that, while unfortunate, Wells Fargo doesn’t really care about the impact to the Seller because they are not Wells Fargo’s customer.
