The Equitable Bank
ServiceI am in town for the funeral of a family member.
On a Saturday morning I walk in wearing my suit and ask to exchange two twenty dollar bills for four tens.
Simple request and the lobby is empty.
I am not a ruffian well spoken and looking much more professional than he is in short sleeve wrinkled polo.
The casher asks me if I am a member and I say no I am in town for a funeral down the street and need to make change to pay the musicians. ($30 for three songs seems like decent thing to do.)
He tells me that since I am not a member he won’t help me.
Remember the place is empty except for him and another teller sitting down.
If you have any choice in your banking options walk across the street to the Johnson bank.
Their teller was pleasant, professionally dressed and was Able to help me even with out the story.
