Worst Customer Experience

Went into Suntrust Bank to have a wire transfer sent to Europe. Wanted to find total cost if it was sent in Euros, Pounds, and Dollars.

Spent over an hour at branch and Aaron was not able to tell me the exact cost of sending the wire transfer in Pounds or Euros.

Since already spent enough time in the branch I opted to have them send the wire transfer in Dollars.

It took so long to complete the wire transfer that the branch closed before the guy was done.

Just got a call the next day from the guy saying since he clicked the send button at 5:14 PM that they did not send it because their rules state that they don’t do wire transfers after 5 PM.

In order to send the wire transfer, I would have to go back into the branch again to complete all the paperwork again.

Absolute worst customer experience. Would avoid this branch.

    SunTrust Bank is the most unfriendly and has absolutely no concern for their customers whatsoever. I would never ever bank with them again nor refer them. They are crap. They close my account without telling me and ended up screwing up my direct deposit.

    I asked why they closed my account as i had never had any issues with it before and the agent stated he couldn’t tell me but they were sending a letter. Apparently this has happened to others that I know. Shame, Shame, Shame on you SunTrust.

    This is the most horrible customer service bank I’ve seen, and I even have an account with Bank of America. Got locked out of my account, needed to get a document to another bank for a closing. No help. Bunch of people with accents not helping me and most likely not understanding me. It was a horror show. After 4 calls and a couple of hours into it,

    I was actually fascinated about how bad their customer service is. They didn’t disappoint in that regard. They are terrible. Another company that has grown big enough to give the customer the middle finger. The good news is, they all suck, so if you are comfortable with getting screwed by a bank who has zero customer service support, go with these idiots.


    DO NOT BANK WITH SUNTRUST!!!! I have been charged three over drafts, and after going through my account two of the 3 purchases did not over draft my account, and the third only over drafted because of the first two. After having an online chat,

    I was told that the order on what I was looking at was wrong, and that the over drafts were really valid, however no where could I see that I over drafted. They said they would refund ONLY ONE of the over drafts. It is bad business, and not a bank where I will continue to keep money.

    This bank is absolutley horrible! They go and do things behind your back even adter you tell them not to. I ordered a new banl card from them cause mine got stolen ive been waiting 3 months for a card like whatbthe hell are they doing my. Wife has to threaten to sue them in order to get them to do literally anything. Bad bank sucks dont do it.

    The worst customer service amazing even if you change location branch they all suck they all have an attitude slow won’t return calls make your life miserable instead of making you feel good and secure with your own money
