Scott Yancey

Scott’s real estate training is a bait for their scam

Scott Yancey sells his training on real estate to trap people into investing in his real estate scam.

I joined his training in San Francisco and paid about $22,000 in total.

The instructor, Tim Anderson, told us that we do not need to invest in million-dollar homes in training.

He even informed that the $500,000 was readily available for purchase and repair homes through them.

As per the CBS report, the average value of the house in San Francisco is $925,000.

As Scott Yancey and the team provide 20%-40% of the market value, they offer very low financing.

There are other companies which supply 90% to sometimes 100%.

Scott Yancey provides $500,000, which is much lower than the average value of homes in San Francisco.

I paid $1,997 when the training started, and they ask for the remaining $18,997 if you wish to know the precise information on real estate investing.

In short, they allow you to sit in their training with the first $1,997 investment and then will ask you for $18,997 if you wish to learn about their tactics which are not worthy of the amount they charge.

At first, they provide the DVDs, which quote, “don’t worry if you do not have money.”

Later, when you ask them for the funding, they will ask you for a high-paying job and to put 5% – 10% of the total funding amount from their pocket.

It would be shocking to know that they asked me to arrange for the buyer and the seller at the same time to get the funding from them.

My question is, “Who will sell their house to Scott Yancey when they are getting much more money from another company.”

These goons are way more clever than you can expect and would brainwash you to make a profit.

Who pays such an enormous amount for training to get pennies in return?

I did, and many others as well. It was because they knew how to lure people into investing.

They make it sound so easy that no one can delay paying them the rest of the amount for training.

I want my refund that they are not ready to pay.

I knew it would not be a cakewalk to get money out of their pocket when they are the master players.

Scott Yancey and his team of goons are smarter than you think and would take different turns to make you believe in what they say.

Their promises are fake and illusionary. To date, Scott Yancey and his firm have not made any great success, proving the above claim incorrect.

Scott Yancey is a fraud and would make you repent later. I am still struggling to get my money back, which seems impossible.

  1. she was Unprofessional & so Rude on the phone, each time I was try to speak to her.

I signed up for a workshop class, I informed them in advance that I couldn’t attend because of an emergency. I spoke to Rachel May in the quality assurance dept,

she was Unprofessional & so Rude on the phone, each time I was try to speak to her. She keep cutting me off and said no one is intrested in hearing what I have to say, what a bad experience with this Scott Yancey Realestate workshop so far .

  2. IT IS A SCAM.

waited for my turn only to be surprised that the meeting with the consultant was to ask if I was going to sign up for the upcoming two day workshop and the cost was $38K which was the Diamond Elite 360. My consultant told me that my credit score could not qualify me to any credit cards that could pay for the $38K.

That was the only package they were talking about. I dropped my face, I told my consultant that I did not come to the class to be asked to pay more money after I paid $1147 in the first place and was advised it was to do with the 3 days training, I told my consultant that was not a training.

My consultant did not have much to say or offer since I did not come up with $38K. I went back to my seat and realize that a lot of people were leaving the class soon after they met with their consultants and some did not return after lunch.

There was a couple I was seated next to, they also were complaining and were going to file a dispute with their bank for their credit card charge of $1147. I told them I was also going to the same.

I left before the class was over and never returned the 3rd day. I am taking the matter up as need my refund. This is not right and is a rip-off. STAY AWAY from Scott Yancey and his company Affluence Edu, LLC. IT IS A SCAM.

  3. WATCH OUT FOLKS!

Although I felt the real estate and stock investing seminars were worth the 199.00 and 49.00 charges respectively, they just use the seminars to upsell systems of $6000-$12,000. They said that we would have 30 days free access to 2 different computer programs (which I NEVER even accessed nor signed up for).

Within the SAME week of taking the seminars, I was charged on my credit card for the $29.95 and $24.95 respectively. VERY SHADY COMPANY!! I closed my credit card and am disputing the charges! WATCH OUT FOLKS!

  4. Scammer

  6. I can see my bank account growing!!

Just finished Boots on the Ground. Wonderful experience and very educational. Our teacher and speaker here in Edison, NJ Jeff Jensen was great. Can’t wait to put all info into action. I can see my bank account growing!!

    1. No doubt the bank accounts will grow, NO DOUBT AT ALL!

I the end, the ONLY bank accounts growing do not belong to the suckers who showed up at these events.

  7. Time Pass Service

The actual information, when they give it, is interesting but the majority of the time they are trying to get you to spend $35,000 to complete the training. They also ask you to go through some websites that you end up with free trial time.

  8. Bad Service Provide

It’s such high pressure for you to sign for the ‘Retreat’ and it has to be done tonight! Any time that I have to sign something or freebies are ‘gone’ – warning signs start flying up! If it’s good, it’ll still be there next day or two, when you have more time to do research on the company.

Finally, speaker gave a 20-minute break so people could sign up for the ‘Retreat’, after which our turkey sandwich dinner would be handed out… this was getting closer to 8:30 pm! The hotel had put a pickle underneath the sandwich, so the bottom half of the sandwich was soggy.

Then a testimony by a former student on how great the ‘Retreat’ was and how well he was doing – all due to the class and the wonderful support he was getting. Another speaker talked for another hour on Stock Market and various Options and how to make money regardless of whether the market was going up or down.

Of course, this tied into those that had signed up for the ‘Retreat’, the cost of the 3-day class for this Stock Market class and of course, the cost kept going down… if you sign immediately!

  9. Never Again

We received one of those “Special VIP Invitation” to one of the Scott & Annie Yancy free seminar on Flipping Houses. An extra incentive was a $60 Starbucks gift and two free resource discs, in addition to a free dinner for myself and guest.

It was close by at a hotel and started at 6pm. My wife and I were drawn to the possibility of learning something about investing in real estate, plus the idea of getting a Starbucks gift card made it even more interesting.

Long line when we first arrived at the hotel, we were told that the Starbucks card would not be handed out until the very end. First, we heard from Scott & Amie Yancy, giving a bit of their own backgrounds and how they started on this business. It was interesting.

  10. He treats his workers HORRIBLE

Scott Yancey is an absolute horrible person. I have previously watched “Flipping Vegas” a few times, all of each I am in awe of how terribly he treats his peers. Always yelling, cursing, and blaming others for issues, when he does no work at all himself.

He treats his workers HORRIBLE, they never do anything good enough for him. I am not one to say I hate people or television shows, but I would never recommend this pathetic show and the terrible people featured in it.

  11. This is a scam company.

This is a scam company. They entice you to their meetings via a $250 Starbucks card and other gifts that is a lie. Then once you are there they give you just enough information to make you feel that your time was well spent with them. Then they get you to pay for a 3 day event.

  12. Very Bad

The claim that the presenters made was that they dont. None of the reviews here or in any of the reviews i found online actually confirmed or denied if what they promised you would get for the $997 was delivered immediately or if there were other contingencies involved.

I am personally conflicted. If any one could give detailed and accurate information, it would be helpful to the community. Its one star because the information was based on my personal experince just from the free event. No reflection of the event its self. As with anything like this the people tell you what they have to offer. Its up to the consumer to make an informed decision.

  13. They offer a payment plan, but they dont give you months to pay it off.

I went to the yancey seminar in culver city on jan. It was every thing i expected an event to be where selling something was involved. No suprises there. The three day event after the free one was quoted at $997. They offer a payment plan, but they dont give you months to pay it off.

Its more like you come up with 500 in two weeks and the rest is due two weeks later or however your paydays fall. I havent attended the 3 day event because it doesn’t begin until next weekend.

After reading both point of views its hard to determine if it would be worth the $997 for the three days. No one on here said whether or not the do actually do credit checks or employment checks to gain access to their funding.

  14. The target card is worthless & not fulfilled by target

Don’t go please I was there today at the Las Vegas Suncoast Hotel event it’s all scam which most make money events are, but this event takes it to a new level which should send up red flags they offer you a free $250.00 target card & free lunch to suck people in. The target card is worthless & not fulfilled by target?? That is the first lie,

the lunch well I don’t know I did not stay it was almost dinner time & no food had been served yet after reading other reviews the food was not much better than the magical act performance put on by Todd ??? who knows who he is.

It saddens me that this not illegal to perform such a manipulative act of lies is beyond me. My son has learned on his own & has been making money with real estate for 20 years now & never had to pay to learn how. Shame on you all I will never watch Flipping Vegas again & A & E should cancel their sorry butts for promoting this horrible BS event I wonder how much kick back they are receiving to show their faces on a poster board.

I watched these elderly people get up & pay $997.00 to go to more events I so wanted to stand up & scream DON’T DO IT read reviews they are your saving grace I went to see for myself after reading reviews so I could honestly say I was there & to let people know don’t get sucked into this scam.I hope this will save some people, you can learn about real estate on your own.
