Nabil Adam
Accused of sexually assaulting, raping, and intimidating studentDr. Nabil Adam 76 years old Rutgers professor, has been accused in a sexual assault case against a graduate student he cared for.
Between 2015 and 2017, he was charged with sexually assaulting, raping, and intimidating his graduate student.
The matter has been investigated by three Rutgers Office of Employment Equity investigators. The latest investigation is currently underway.
Carolyn Dellatore, Associate Director of OEE, found Professor Adam guilty of failing to report Title IX concern.
He stated in the OEE report that Dr. Adam claimed he had cooperated fully with the investigation but that he ‘drew the line at the invasion of privacy.
Referring to Adam’s refusal to provide DNA evidence that would support her claim that Adam had unwelcome sexual contact with her,” it is true that Dr. Adam withheld evidence and misrepresented information.
Administrative leave has been Dr. Adam’s worst consequence. Despite continuing investigations and Dr. Adam did not follow university policy in his research, he was allowed to return to work in January 2019.
The Rutgers community does not tolerate this vile form of sexual abuse.
Adam’s current job will be terminated, putting the graduate student and others at risk of abuse. That is unacceptable.
We ask Rutgers University to stop complicity and take appropriate action immediately.
Rutgers University must hold Dr. Nabil Adam if they want to protect survivors and the entire community.
Dr. Nabil Adam has come out of everything and assulting around.
I am one of the victims, and it is cruel that no action has been taken against this professor. I wish there is a time when he lands in jail for 15 years.
