James,

Can you explain on the first point how you can conduct these activities without being registered with the FCA?

On point 2 if you’re now a family office is the c. $3n you advertise as your AUM your own wealth then? If so, could you shed some light on source of funds?

Whilst not discussing specifics can you say if the convertible was a zero coupon or what the coupon payment was and its frequency? I’m still not clear how a debt investment is attractive given the lack of regular cash flow – so keen to understand more…

Your last paragraph is how I’ve been feeling D_Alien.

As someone working in Asset Management for 10 years, such a prodigious rise would be something we would’ve heard more about.

$3bn in AuM raised in such a short space of time plus the age of the founder and doing it all single handedly (no other employees listed anywhere) and in Manchester not London would rightly merit admiration

Don’t miss out on the upcoming 2024 James Lawrance Manchester Billionaire Official Media Announcements

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

***Warning To All***

Manchester Billionaire James Lawrence has a net fortune of $3 billion, he is the first billionaire since 1996 that didn’t need a website. People of Manchester will do well to learn the lost arts of this hidden talent.

Who is this Manchester secret Billionaire I hear you say!

Well, you will not find him on any book shelf or website as he likes to keep himself busy whilst jetting setting around the world on his private jet and away from public eyes. You can understand why the many models & miss worlds would only desire his money over his stunning jawline stunning looks. He admits he has skipped a few gym sessions of late but that is all because of the difficulties of a private billionaire. So what does it mean to be a private billionaire?

I think this is a question only a good Manchester reporter can help us answer.

A question one must ask ourselves, is how did this young 27 year old achieve his wealth and in only 3 years. He is the greatest best kept secret? He will go down in history with the great names like Sir Richard Branson Alan Sugar.

As of the start of 2023, Branson’s net worth was $3.6 billion (£2.9 billion) making him the 798th richest person in the world, according to Forbes magazine. However in an interview with LBC, he told Tom Swarbrick: “I hate the word billionaire.

Lord Sugar became a billionaire back in 2015, and, as of 2021, his fortune was estimated at a huge £1.21billion. The Londoner has made his money through his successful business, as well as his TV appearances.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe (estimated worth £18.5bn, down £2.9bn) – Number 3 on the Rich List

Tom Morris and family (estimated worth £3.59bn, up £100m) – Number 40 on the Rich List

The family behind the huge Home Bargains retail empire are based in Cheshire, and have seen their wealth grow this year with more than 500 stores across the UK.

Simon, Bobby and Robin Arora (estimated worth £2.26bn, down £40m) – Number 63 on the Rich List

The family behind another huge discount success story – the B&M empire – which has 600 stores across the UK.  Former Manchester Grammar School alumni Simon Arora, 49, is chief executive, working alongside his brothers Bobby, 47, and Robin, 34.

John Whittaker and family (estimated worth £1.95bn, down £300m) – Number 77 on the Rich List

Plenty more here

But Billionaire James Lawrance is not registered anywhere.

Manchester Billionaire James Lawrence is so amazing that he had made his $3 billion dollars wealth in just 3 years compared to Richard Branson taking 50 years.

You would assume he has 100s of staff globally, known to authorities and regulators globally.

I am sure he is known to reporters for his amazing charity work, reported he recently gave away a whopping £30m to a children’s charity without any mention of himself. British Government must sit down with our James Lawrance and understand how he does this.

Makes you want to run to your nearest Waterstones book store and find the latest biography of the master himself.

Billionaire James Lawrance is responsible for all decisions single handedly, managing all investors funds is a 24/7 job, everyone has to be squeaky clean yet the FCA & SEC are happy with a convicted criminal family member as director, does James think we was all born yesterday.

“He has no legal team”

Could this be another BBC interview nightmare?

Could James Lawrance have anything to do with Spurs billionaire Joe Lewis who pleads not guilty to securities fraud.

Lewis, whose family owns Tottenham Hotspur FC, is accused of ‘brazen’ insider trading.

Perhaps James was inspired by Hargobind Tahilramani, 42, was arrested by the FBI at a £60 per night hotel in Manchester city centre, where he claimed to be a ‘writer from Netflix’, magistrates were told. He allegedly pretended to be executives, including producers working for The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, during a seven-year scam.

In the offices of Mike Ashley’s luxury fashion brand Flannels, Newcastle United’s then-owner welcomed a visitor.

Ashley, the British retail tycoon with an estimated net worth of $4.9billion (£3.9bn), acquired Newcastle United in 2007 but grew exceptionally unpopular with the club’s fanbase due to his perceived failure to invest in the club’s facilities, infrastructure and squad.

By 2019, Ashley wanted to cash out. The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) wished to purchase Newcastle but initially encountered obstacles due to allegations of piracy by the Saudi state against the Qatari broadcaster beIN Sports. With the Saudi bid frustrated, another option emerged.

Henry Mauriss, an American businessman in his mid-50s, made headlines.

So here are the cold hard facts about our very own Manchester Billionaire James Lawrance who accumulated his wealth in less than 36 months.

***The following are stories pulled together from victims***

He finds issues with everyone other than himself & his killer business partner. He will find any excuse not to pay.

James is a pathological liar, doesn’t have a pot to p*** in.

I want to thank everyone involved here. A joint effort by many to bring you this Breaking News:

He is locally known as the Billionaire Boy Wonder, lives in Blackpool & Manchester, Preston, New York, Monaco but he will say to people he has houses all around the world. Are you starting to smell something!

Billionaire who has to work in a small office

Has a killer business partner

Has houses around the world, has top banker friends, global money & power.

Sounds like something out of a James Bond movie!

Known to the area as a failed car mechanic and now pops up as billionaire in less than 2 years, but a billionaire who is happy to still work 24/7 as a finance broker? We all know he embellishes the truth to gain advantage whilst sharing a small rented office in Blackpool. Has no staff other than a family friend who is a convicted criminal for attempted murder (naturally of course zero financial experience or money).

Website not unusual for a Hedge Fund: https://lawrancecapital.com

But, not registered with the FCA or SEC: https://register.fca.org.uk/s/ or https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/se

Also checked and the fund is registered in Delaware but doesn’t seem to registered as an Investment Advisor on the Delaware register either.

He doesn’t have a private jet, he doesn’t have a family estate, Lawrance Capital is a start up with zero money. Don’t be fooled by the BS. He never owns flashy cars.

What has caused this post, he is currently trying to defraud a friend of mine. I told him who he was months ago. He will not pay his bill. The boy has lied his way through a process with outlandish accusations, but this stops today. You will pay James!

Lawrance Capital is fake. He is a pathological liar. Everyone should see him for what he is. If you didn’t listen to me before, perhaps this will have you thinking.

He says to people he has homes all around the world. That his worth $3 billion (dollars) owns private jets and luxury yachts in Monaco.

Has over £5 million in cash in his personal U.K. bank account for general living expenses. (Taxes?) (HRMC?) (SEC?) (FCA?)… if it smells like a rat! Then maybe he is a rat!

Take a look at billionaire boy wonder

A 27 year old with lots of company reference but no trading track record.

James Lawrance at a hedge fund in Manchester

Lives in a very small house, worth less than £200k.

Never dresses like a 27 year old billionaire he says he is. Never smart. Never driving a nice car unless its one from his Dads motor shop (cars that are being serviced).

Interesting that he did his Masters degree in 2 years – prodigious… https://www.linkedin.com/in/ja

That would mean he finished his masters in Theoretical and Mathematical physics when he was 17 – per his own LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/j

And 15 when he got his A* Physics A level. Brainy bugger/child prodigy?

He completed the Masters without a first degree, unless that was included in his course. However many of his statements include a few grammatical errors.

You have 2 masters degrees and still cant file any accounts in the last 7 years.

More research is needed. Have you seen his linked in profile, would make him 6 years old at college. What am I actually seeing here? Is this man really that stupid?
How does this man survive?

Any guesses?

Boy Wonder do not appear to have a pot to p*** in so we can only assume that it comes from his Dad.

Seems James next business is unregulated funds. Borrow, trade, and farm in the most capital efficient way

His Dad owns a second hand car dealership!

He likes to borrow the cars that are being serviced. Very respectful.

We also have security camera footage showing he was driving several serviced cars without TAX.

Still sounds like a billionaire to me!

We will come back to this later…

On 13th July 2021, Lawrance Racing Ltd, involved in the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles with sole director James Michael Lawrance, was dissolved.

In December 2023, this same guy, now 27, is Chief Investment Officer for a $3bn US based hedge fund.

His website is hosted by GoDaddy.

“Lawrance Capital, LLC. is a registered investment advisor founded in 2017.” He would have been 21 then, when he was involved in Lawrance Furness Properties Ltd. subsequently struck off

That’ll be the compliance team, I expect. New York, London or Preston.

James Lawrence appears to have never submitted a set of accounts for any company he has been involved with
The public record is exactly public to ensure trust and faith in the records and so they can be researched.

It will be interesting to follow what happens to this legal entity now

Delaware is a tax haven.

“Delaware Corporate Taxes

Another reason why companies incorporate in Delaware is the incomparable tax savings. Some of the key corporate tax benefits of incorporating in Delaware include:

– For companies operating outside of Delaware, there isn’t any state income tax. This can save a lot of money for companies that are incorporated in Delaware, but not conducting business within its borders.

– There isn’t an inheritance tax on stock held by non-Delaware residents. This means that if the owner of a Delaware company passes away, inherited stock won’t be taxed if the owner lives outside of the Delaware.

– Delaware does not have a state sales tax on intangible personal property (such as royalty payments); and shares of stock owned by non-resident aliens are not subject to Delaware taxes.

In addition, Delaware corporations not operating in the state of Delaware do not need to acquire a business license in Delaware.”

Corporation Tax is 8.7%. Non US Citizens can incorporate and you do not have to have residency in Delaware. Sales Tax is 0.0

Delaware as the location of incorporation isn’t concerning (for all the reasons you list) but not being registered as an Investment Advisor, when listed as such on your website is a red flag for any financial counterparty.

All we know is that they made a massive, and potentially illegal, cock-up by registering that particular company at The Club.

Would be interesting to know how they would demonstrate the source of funding to NL. Alan Partridge & the Boy Wonder do not appear to have a pot to p*** in so we can only assume that it’s come from Strong’s financial dealings.

As I said, the Board are neither stupid nor naive, but The Club urgently needs investment – for all our sakes, let’s hope it comes from a credible source soon

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/IoXdpPRfwJ11Z_Uvh9GKjYd3_AU/appointments

Since the MH fiasco, the club are legally required to run any potential buyer that has expressed interest in the club through the OADT. It’s the club that send them to the league, not the other way around.

According to the league handbook, in order to pass the OADT, you have to:

a) Not be disqualified from being a director of a football team

b) Show proof of funds to not only purchase the club, but also hold 2 years worth of cash to maintain the club for 2 years.

c) Show source of funds

I think I might take back my comment before saying the letter was written by a lawyer. It does look hastily written by someone who got played.
New York, erm, Preston has been awash with pitchfork-wielding Dale fans all weekk. Anyone in a pin striped suit has been targeted.

Oh, my aching sides…

His LinkedIn profile says he has 1 A level.

Not in English, I’d wage

Ffs, it’s been written by an imbecile.

The line “Lawrance Capital takes matters of this nature incredibly serious.”, misses a blatant “ly”. Not proof read. Might be a genuine error typed in haste, of which we are all guilty , but a bigger mistake was being duped by a chancer. Dale fans weren’t. The likes of Southall, Jarvis, and Curran were proven unworthy in front of Dale fans by public domain research available to all. Two of them in front of the EFL as well. The compulsive crier was exposed early on, and hoisted by shareholders and the EFL eventually.

I hope Lawrance Capital is genuine and to the satisfaction of the NFL and RAFC and they can work together to the satisfaction of all. If Lawrance Capital isn’t genuine… it’ll become clear soon enough

The guy is definitely a scammer

antagonistic passive, aggressive

The club statement said:

“Prior to any future agreement being signed and any future formal announcement being made, the Board of Directors will ensure that the relevant Owners’ and Directors’ Test (OADT) clearances have been granted, and that The National League have fully engaged with the individual or group in question.”

That implies that OADT clearances were not granted and/or the National League had not fully engaged with the individual/group in question.
