Kaiser Permanente Oakhurst Medical ...
Such An Uncompromising ExperienceI joined Kaiser Permanente Oakhurst Medical Offices in June, because I was unhappy with current insurance plan.
I began to regret that I had done this, when I attempted to make an appointment with my PCP.
It took than a month, even then I had limited appointments schedule to choose from.
There were not many doctors to choose, they were not accepting patients.
It was almost possible to obtain a refill,of my medication has bee so frustating.
I had to call multiple times, and had to obtain the assistant of a supervisor to obtain a refill.
She never give refills.I would always have to call.It has been so frustrating.
When I arrive at the pharmacy,it was not ready, and sometimes,I was told they have not received a refill notice.
Also when I call my RX refill in,I am put on hold for long periods of times, for a customer service rep.
I asked the rep.,why is it I cannot request my refill by the automated system?she had no reason for this.
Kaiser began to send threatening notice of cancellation, when my premium,is deducted from social security check.
I am still receiving these notices, although I was told this had been corrected.
I had another awful experience with an opthamologist,in Riverside, and I live in Riverside County,40 miles away form this office,it took me 3 months to obtain an appointment.
When I joined,I was told all of the doctors, that I need to see,was under one roof. When I went to see this Dr.,he was so rude.
He checked my eyes, and confirmed that I needed surgery for a cataract .
He told me whoever did the prior surgery,on your eye,you will have to go back to that Dr.,I would not perform cataract surgery.
Even after the cataract is removed, you might be blind.I felt humiliated, and hurt by this Dr’s statement.
He was rude, unprofessional, and narcissistic.I have decided to cancel my coverage with Kaiser.
Five stars,I donot agree.I have never had such an uncompromising experience.
On April 17 I visited Kaiser in Oakhurst to have blood drawn the person who was supposed to draw the blood was rude and indignant and very argumentative at one point I thought perhaps I should speak to their supervisor Kaiser should vet their employees better for Public service
