Home Loans Assist is a ripoff. You can literally do everything they do by yourself. Just contact the credit bureaus yourself and dispute the claims.
It literally takes no more than maybe an hour of your time, and Home Loans Assist charge $100 monthly for that.
Also, they only guarantee that they will remove at least 50% of false claims on your report. So its not even guaranteed that they will take it all off.
And it also has to be false. You can’t get things disputed off your credit report that are correct. In other words, you can’t get a bankruptcy removed either.
This company misleads customers into a contract on the phone. My caller said that I could get a bankruptcy removed, but this is not true.
These guys are pretty much scammers. You are just wasting $629 by doing business with them for work that you could do yourself for a couple of hours.

HLA did a great job looking out for our interests in an industry where the consumer usually has little power and no recourse, but they changed all that. They helped improve my credit score by over 50 pts – and it’s all legit.
They are using the system’s own rules against the system – instead of other way around which is how it usually goes. And when you’re done – no strings – no catch – just call them and close your account. I am absolutely a satisfied customer.

Whether or not these people do decent credit cleaning, I do not know. However, I do know that they are terrible at accounting and closing accounts. They also do not issue refunds unless you are aggressive. If you are looking to clean up your credit, there are many non-profit groups to help.
Join a local credit union – many can provide those services free of charge with people you can trust. Don’t be naive like I was, avoid Home Loans Assist at all costs. They are also known as “National Credit Care LLC.”

This company was beyond terrible and I encourage you to not be as naive as I was. When I called to get assistance cleaning up my credit, I was never informed by an agent that all of the services they were providing were ones I could easily do myself.
In addition, they took my credit card over the phone and immediately charged me for services they had not provided yet. When I researched more on the internet that day I realized my mistake and called to cancel.
They did not refund me my $58.00 until I set up a stop payment with my bank. In addition, they promised in a voicemail to never charge me again. A month later they charged my accoun $198.00. I called that day to have them refund the money. They promised to do so but at that point never followed through.
I know, Im the dummy for relying on them.
These people get 0 stars. A mortgage banker referred me to them and all they did was dispute EVERYTHING on my credit report. I cannot get a home loan because of this. Now I actually have to undo the the disputes myself, so I paid them for nothing.
Either they are uninformed or just evil, both of which are unacceptable. Oh yeah, and when I started to question them about the progress they weren’t making I was put on hold for long periods of time and Mr Brewer was always unavailable. I know, Im the dummy for relying on them.

We have been paying Home Loan Assist for almost 5 months. They have done absolutely nothing to help us. They have disputed everything and stirred up so much chaos my score has gone DOWN!
Now we cannot buy a house anytime soon because a small mess has turned into a HUGE mess!! Also, one bureau needed ID verification which we provided to Home Loan Assist everything MONTHS ago!!!!
Jana just informed me today, that she has has not received ANY INFORMATION in FIVE months from the bureaus because they have not sent in his ID verification!! We have paying them $100 every month

I was reffered to home loan assist by my mortgage broker to remove a couple inquiry’s. Once I enlisted and paid them I had no communication unless i called more than 3 times a day.
After I called and emailed to cancel service they still have been charginging me monthly. I have filed a complaint with the BBB along with other customers. Do not waste your time and money to do something you can do yourself. This is a scam!!

These people will take advantage of your account. We started using them in May and the first time was $29 and it was supposed to be $99 each month after but they debited my card each month for $198.
This is September and we told them that we no longer needed their services but they still debited my card. For 3 months of work they have charged us $800. We are trying to get our money back that they took unlawfully and we are closing that account.
PLEASE keep a check on your account DAILY if you use this company. Think twice, or maybe four times before using them.

This company is a complete SCAM!!!!! I was referred by a lender to help boost my credit score so I could get a better interest rate on a loan. Under their care, my credit score dropped over 40 points, and since they refused to cancel my account when I called and email, they stole an additional $500 from me. NEVER use this company, you will be sorry.

If there was a lower star I would give it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE $1500 TO BURN. NEVER EVER gave me updates, just hit my card every month for 7 months. Referred by mortgage broker which I have now fired. These guys lie and only do a hard sell .
PLEASE stay away. There are real legit companies out there besides this group. ALL employees have the same lying sales pitch.
