We hired Frank to build our foundation. He did a job without having specs. Put vents in the foundation when it was supposed to be a conditioned crawl space, hired a guy who looked and acted like a druggie to do concrete work, and came late at night to work.
Built foundation 6 1/2 inches out of square Frank failed to dig footing trenches in undisturbed earth. Frank built a foundation on top of rock and vapor barrier, which was wrong.
Frank put a curtain drain/French drain using different types of perforated pipe with no plastic under the line to keep water in the plane and drain the pipe. Water flowed into holes in the bar and back into the ground. He says he spent 500 dollars on this. You could tell planes were left over from other jobs that he did.
His failure to drain right resulted in us having a foot of water in our crawl space every time it rained. We contacted Frank and wrote letters, but he didn’t want to make things right. We paid one company over 4000 to fix the south side of the house; we had to do the front side ourselves.
Don’t hire this guy.
