Dr. Rodriguez Roman
Horrible ExperienceI’m not even a patient and already had a horrible experience. His phone manners are undisciplined.
I attempted to schedule a new patient appointment when I was referred by my insurance.
He was on his last day before going on vacation, so he didn’t have any availability in December.
I said that was fine, and asked if I could schedule my appointment for a slot in January.
I figured it would be best to get in an appointment now, right?
He stated to call back in January, and that he didn’t want to schedule a future appointment too far out because people don’t show up.
I stated that if I call in January, will I have to wait a few weeks before an appointment, as I’m sure he has backlog.
He confirmed, he has a 3-week backlog and wouldn’t take an appointment.
I get it, it’s 4:15 PM on the Friday you’re leaving for vacation.
Why answer the phone and be rude to the person who is genuinely looking to make an appointment.
Couldn’t he solve the majority of his “no shows” with courtesy reminder call or text? My hair salon does it, you would think a doctor’s office would.
I’m sure he’s a great doctor, but I would recommend he hire a receptionist.
Scammer
I’ve been seeing Dr. Rodriguez for approximately 4-years now. He’s been quick to respond to my emails and voice mails. He has also gone out of his way to rearrange his schedule and see me on short notice.
He’s responsive, easy to talk with, and very direct, which are qualities I can appreciate when it comes to my doctor.
He was my doctor for over a decade.
He was my doctor for over a decade. When I reached the do-nut hole with my prescription coverage he gave me samples of my medication to keep me going (more than once). He was never late, never cancelled appointments and saw me through some difficult times.
He always returned my calls, hell he even returned all my emails. He was a servant to those of us with mental illness. He is a competent professional and I personally miss him. By the way we didn’t always agree but he respected my choices.
