Dr. Leonard Gray

HE IS UNETHICAL

DO NOT SEE Dr. Leonard Gray! HE IS UNETHICAL. A friend of mine and myself decided to have the surgery in 2012 to give myself a esteem boost and correct damage from breastfeeding, I told Dr. Gray that I wanted an ‘athletic look”.

I have an extremely small frame and he seemed to understand what I was asking for.

Both myself and my friend were giving HUGE breast implants. So much bigger than I asked for.

She immediately went under the knife with another doctor to fix hers but I decided to lose more weight and try the 36 DD that he implanted, My shoulders have rounded extensively due to the heaviness of the giant implants and the pain is daily in my back.

I am finally caving in after exhausting all choices and having this botch job fixed.

Another 15,000 because this doctor “likes women with bigger breasts” has nothing to do with what the patient asks for.

This doctor is doing this so you will come back to him for a second surgery to reduce his mess up later.

What a creep. What a jerk. Thanks for the biggest waste of money Ive ever spent.

  1. HUGE

Dr. Gray made me larger than discussed in consultation. My breast implants are so big they have caused me severe neck, back and shoulder pain and complications. I deeply regret getting these implants.

  2. Large implants

If you want very large breasts, DD and bigger, Dr Gray is a good choice. I did not want them.

  3. Nerve pain

I had such severe nerve pain in my nipples from enormous implants that I had to go to the emergency room. Please be careful, especially with any size above 500cc. I had implants under 500 cc with no problems and when Dr Gray replaced them with larger implants (I told him I did not want to be larger than a D cup), I began having multiple physical problems. The implants were even and perfectly positioned, but none of that mattered once I had pain. I just wanted them out. If I were to do it all over again, I would just get padded bras with inserts, or small implants and augment with a padded bra when I want more volume. Health is more important.

  4. Bigger

Beware – bigger is not always better!!!!!!!!!

  5. Regret

I used to be an A cup and became an F cup after getting implants. I would give anything to be an A cup again. I used to be able to wear cute, high fashion clothing and lacey undergarments, and due to implants had to switch to wearing unattractive and large underwire support bras and oversized tops. What’s the point? in my opinion, it seems easier to go bigger but nearly impossible to go smaller without complications, sagging skin and scars. This has been my experience and I regret having had the surgery everyday.

  6. Warning

In my opinion, Dr Gray does a beautiful job with breast implants. If he would stop using huge implants and listen to women requesting normal sizes that aren’t physically painful and that fit in clothing, he would have a booming business. He doesn’t have to live with heavy weights on his chest and try to find bras that fit. For me being huge is not attractive, makes me look heavy In my experience most women do not want to look so big. I felt it reduced my credibility in the workplace as well. A warning to other women before going big.

  7. HUGE

Dr Gray put in breast implants larger than I had requested resulting in chronic and debilitating neck, shoulder and back problems. If you want extremely huge breasts, Dr Gray is a good choice yet please note the serious physical consequences I have suffered. I had to have them removed and am now sagging and deformed.

  8. Dr Gray made me HUGE despite my request to not go so big. I have had several neck, shoulder and back problems and surgeries as a result and chronic pain. I had to remove them and am now deformed.

  9. Will post a review of the surgeon that I do select for this procedure.

I had an initial consultation with Dr. Gray for breast augmentation. I was far from impressed and actually saddened because I waited 8 weeks for the appointment and appreciated his credentials.

Dr. Gray took me 30 minutes late and kept me for 2.5 hours because he left me in the exam room many times for extended periods without apology. He quickly recited his breast augmentation “shpeal” as if it was torture to have to repeat it so many times in his practice. He was however, knowledgeable about the literature and answered my questions with both scientific data and his personal experience. But when I asked him what problems he has encountered, he stated “what, like malpractice suits? Not yet, knock on wood (and proceeded to do so).”

During the sizing, he did not listen (or ask) what my preferences were and left me with the sense that I only have the option of a very full C or D. He also pushed silicone implants even after I already stated that I was strictly interested in saline. He not once asked me what look I was going for or what my concerns about appearance were. He stated, “strippers and women on Wall Street all want the same thing.” I do not fall in either category.

Overall, I found Dr. Gray’s appearance, lackadaisical and impersonal demeanor to be quite unprofessional. Maybe he is a good surgeon but I definitely don’t want to find out.

On a brighter note, the office was nice and Robert, the reception staffer, was polite and professional. If he was doing the surgery I may reconsider.

  10. Never Again

we even went and spoke with him about it, and his response was that she may need more syringes, but she barely has any wrinkles only fine lines. when i spoke to him about my lips, he just said he still feels it in there…he’s a character. he did nothing for us.

at least he could have given us a discount and given us the correct product that we wanted instead of offering a lower end product. he didn’t discuss what the results would be before the procedure. he should know by now, as a doctor who supposedly has experience, how many syringes or product a patient will need just by looking at the patient.

other doctors i have visited are very precise about their work and know exactly what needs to be done. so do yourself a favor and save your money, research on another doctor because he is absolutely ridiculous.

  11. veryyyyy horriblee!!

veryyyyy horriblee!! do not go to this place unless you want to waste your money for absolutely no results. anyone writing good reviews on this doctor is family members of the doctor and himself because there is no way anyone could be satisfied with the horrible job he does. he recommends products and procedures which only benefit him and not his patients.

he overbooks and makes you wait hours for a 10 minute procedure. if you live far away like i do, you will waste gas money going to this poorly trained doctors office. i had collagen placed in my lips. he used the wrong product, and it didn’t even last a month. i told him the name of the product which worked best on someone i knew,

but instead he recommended this newer product which is was just trying out on me as if i’m some damn guinea pig. i spent $500 for this unskilled, untrained, unprofessional service which is why i am recommending you not step foot into this office like the patient below me stated. if will be a waste of time, drive,

money and a horrible looking procedure with horrible to zero results. anyone i speak with about this procedure is so surprised this product i paid $500 for only lasted not even a month. he doesn’t have before and after pictures because he gives no results!! period.

  12. Scammer

He operated on me. HUGE scars, wrong implant size, and developed infection, etc, etc. Dr. Edward Miranda fixed me up and now I look better than ever. Dr. Gray may pump out the greatest number of breast implants in nocal, but thats also what you are to him, just another set of plastic boobs. Ekk. Oh, and outrageous prices btw.

  13. Completely disappointed and will not be scheduling my surgery with Dr. Gray.

After that he showed me around their new surgery room (still under construction), and then into another room to have me undress. He looked at me for all of 30 seconds and then told me to put a leotard on to check out some implants. Sweet!

Hey Doc- I have some pictures of what I would like them to look like, can you take a look and maybe you can show me some implants like these? “No, that wont help at all-its all up to you.” Really? Thats funny, because you are a “professional” so if I say I was large D’s that hang with a width of 13.2 does that make more sense to you? You are the professional, I am asking your opinion!!!!

Then, as if that wasnt bad enough, we sat back in his office, and he started talking to me about dates to schedule the surgery. At this point I no longer wanted him to be my surgeon. So I humored him, and said a few months out and that I would call to schedule when I had the money.

He tried to “sell” me on a deal for the month of October about getting a discount if I get them done. I’m sorry, what part of “a few months when I have the money” did you not understand?

As I walked out of his office, I had to stop by the front desk to talk about numbers. Again, I was only humoring the receptionist. He proceeded to grab a “CareCredit” application and said “The best thing about this company, is that they allow co-signers!

I know you’re young and your credit may not be great..” Really f*cker? I am 26 years old, with a credit score of 748, which is higher than most AMERICANS of all ages- so before you assume I am some young bimbo looking for a quick fix boob job, you should show everyone some respect and not insult them!!

  14. I would have given 0 stars, but I had to at least give 1

I would have given 0 stars, but I had to at least give 1. I’m not going to lie, when I first was recommended to Dr. Gray I was very excited. I was looking forward to my appointment with him, although it had to be scheduled 3 weeks out.

When I showed up to his office for my 8AM appointment-the doctor was nowhere to be found. He rushed in at 850AM- mind you, I had taken time off of work in order to make this appointment, so I was not happy that he was so late.

When we went into his office, he proceeded to give me his shpeal about his breast augmentation procedure. I tried to intervene at one point (because I had done a ton of research myself and wanted him to save his breath because I knew what I wanted) but he continued on, acting almost unphased of me speaking.

After 10-15 minutes, and a drawing presentation he finally asked me, “So do you have any questions?” Sorry Doc- at this point I’ve already forgotten the question I had 8 minutes ago as I was trying to wrap my head around the books of information you were throwing at me.

    1. Dr Gray made me HUGE despite my request to not go so big. I have had several neck, shoulder and back problems and surgeries as a result and chronic pain. I had to remove them and am now deformed.
