Chase JP Morgan Bank Credit Card Se...

The Expensive Annual Fee.

Ouch! That’s how I feel after getting off of my call with a credit card dispute.

I have been Chase JP Morgan Bank Credit Card Services card holder and member for several years now.

I read their website and it mentioned claims will be handled within 5-10 business days.

I must admit I am quick so I thought the first month was enough time but no.

It has been nearly three months since I filled my claim.

Overall, I have spent , literally, days on the phone to resolve this issue with no resolution.

There has been many guarantees and time frames to call back.

No solution. As a student, my time and funds are valuable. The whole process has been quite vexing.

This company seems not to care for their customers even though having their Sapphire Card cost a few hundred as an annual fee.

With this level of service and card, I do not recommend getting the Chase Sapphire Reserve card.

Get the Uber Visa card if possible. It has almost all the benefits without the expensive annual fee.

  1. Totally AVOID.

Racist customer service. They do not follow FCBA and FCRA hoping that customers will just give up and pay. If you get your cc stolen or if you had a problem with a not honest merchant, they will side with the Merchant in most of the cases. After a lengthy process with them,

i had to go to my district court. Right before the date someone called me wanting to settle. I refused. Went to court and won the case. They had to pay all the debt plus court fees plus losses due to negative reports on my credit report. At the end I won.

But do you want your bank to treat you like this when you have a problem? It was a total waste of time. They do this hoping customers would just suck it up and pay. Totally AVOID.

  2. Not happy with the services we got.

Chase made a very tepid apology, and refused to let me speak to anybody with any responsibility. My card was rejected repeatedly until they released the freeze, and told me it was my fault since I did not answer an e-mail warning me of the suspected fraud. Can’t say enough bad things about these a**holes. I told them I would probably close my account over this, and they made no attempt to dissuade me at all.

  3. Never Again

Yet when I present my experience in dealing with Chases appeals process where I was literally screwed by Chase after contesting a charge- they relegate my comments to less than desirable status and dont include it in the rating process???

  4. i refuse to ever get a card from these people !

chase costumer service for credit cards has been the worst service i have ever encountered. i never write reviews but the outright disrespect that i had to deal with these people was beyond ridiculous.

rude is an understatement. to the lady who i was on the phone i am sorry you hate your job but please learn manners. if you dont like your job then quit. she acted as if i was bothering her by calling. i refuse to ever get a card from these people !

  5. Avoid at all costs!

This is one of the absolute worst companies you can do business with for credit cards or any other loans. Chase customer service is as close as rude to Bank of America as you can get. The terms Chase offers or unacceptable and the overall experience is horrid. Avoid at all costs!

  6. CONSUMERS BEWARE!

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! Chase closed my credit card account on May 31st without any notice! They didn’t even bother to notify me after the fact! I was left to find out on my own when I received an email from another company notifying me that my automatic payment was denied. Frantically I logged in to my Chase account to find out what happened and to my surprise my account was closed.

I immediately called Chase to find out why they closed my account, thinking it must be a mistake, and was told I would need to call back in the morning to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with a supervisor this morning and the only reason he could give me for the closure was “it was in the best interest of the bank at this time” meaning either they weren’t making enough money off of me or they no longer wanted to honor the terms of my contract.

I’ve had the card since, use it frequently, have always paid on time, my account is in good standing and I only had an approx. balance of $700 (which is now paid in full).

  7. So far I received nothing from this card except aggravation and fees

I am so mad , it is impossible to talk or reason with the customer service . The manager’s name is Mike. I can ‘t even cancel the card because I have to ask my husband’s permission. And he has to call and wait another hour or more. So far I received nothing from this card except aggravation and fees

  8. Never Again

We ordered Chase Mileage Plus United credit card and it is pretty horrible card to use. They don’t send you a statement if you do not use card, once you use it the statement comes in with a late fee and interests that was from one month ago.

They told me to pay for one month late fee with interest but the same month they sent me another bill for 164.00 on fees and charges. When I called them they made me wait for 45 minutes and then anther 20 minutes for a manager .

In the mean time I had to repeat the situation to 3 different representatives. After all that waiting, they said they will refund $19.00 as a one time a year curtesy.

  9. They're done now, and I owe them 3000.00.

I’ve called and called and called. They told me to wait. Waited and waited.
On October 26 they told me the money made it to a payee and I need to work with Citibank if the payee is not me.

Citibank says it’s up to Chase to straighten this out, they initiated the transfer. I finally get a letter from Chase (image attached). As you can see, the letter says the money were given to a payee whose account ends with 3027 and if I have a problem I should talk to the payee.

The payee, the 3027 account, I need to find him and confront him about my money. That’s what Chase did with my 3000.00. They’re done now, and I owe them 3000.00.

  10. The claims dispute is the big joke.

The claims dispute is the big joke. They claim the tried to contact me and were unable, strange how their bills and offers always seem to find their way.

  11. my payment was not taken by their process and I called their customer service about the late payment.

my payment was not taken by their process and I called their customer service about the late payment. The reason is because I had to change my bank account info. But the system did not take the changes due to long verifying process. So I called their customer service. But they refused to make any adjustment and put some penalty fees there.

The customer service center was not very nice and kept saying they cannot do anything due to this bank account change. So on May I made another calling and they kept the same with a double penalty due to the gap of 2 months. It was a frustrating process and I would never want to use their service again based on the experience.

  12. The whole experience was frustrating and I am hesitating to use their service based on this experience.

I have been using several credit cards since . Simiallr to other credit cards, chase card has whatever is needed to meet their clients needs. But one unexpected and unhappy expericnes with Chase is their customer services.

Had one unexpected payment transaction showered up on my credit card, and called them multiple times to issue resolved. The whole experience was frustrating and I am hesitating to use their service based on this experience.

  13. The rep stated, "no sorry".

With that being said- I sent a picture of my ID with my signature because they stated they found a receipt from the store with a signature on it and want to ensure that it’s not my signature.

I then replied asking if they could take off the charge until they got the results on the investigation, but stated they could not. So not only did they not follow through with getting all of their evidence before RE-CHARGING my account- they had no solutions except for saying “just don’t pay it”.

ALSO, note that my credit card is due in TWO days, so I asked “if I don’t pay- will you guys cover the interest that you will charge me for not paying”. The rep stated, “no sorry”.

  14. never received the check.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I over paid on my credit card $135 and I called them over a month ago to send me a check of the overpaid balance. They said they sent it out and it should be to my house within 7-10 business days….so I wait….. never received the check.

  15. ALSO another FLAW from Chase end.

If you all use Chase or you are considering this bank- I highly recommend you DO NOT use Chase. It appears that their fraud department is highly flawed in many ways. In September- I reported fraud as I got an alert for nearly $3,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue. I was supposed to receive a new credit card in the mail, but it never made it to my home.

As I filed the report- chase took care of the transaction and removed it from my account. However, this FRAUD transaction reappeared on my bank account on November.

I called chase and spoke to several reps. They had then accused me of actually making this transaction and said “no offense, but then why did you ask for 2 new credit cards”. I had THEN explained that me new credit card had never been sent, so I had to cancel that one and then order a new one . ALSO another FLAW from Chase end.
