I’m a pensioner, looking for pain management and came across Cannabis Shop, Australia and I put my order in though I hesitated when they mentioned they accept Cash Code but I sent them the $150 they asked for. I then get an email from the shop asking for a one off, returnable insurance payment of $300! This is when I realised it’s all a big scam! ????????????

Cannabis Shop Australia is a scam. Owner 'Jared Michael Scarrott' is the main scam artist.
At first glance, the online store Cannabis Shop Australia looks legit. But please don’t be fooled like I was.
The hard core truth is that the owners (yes, there is more than one person involved with this scam company) who operate this scam are very clever. They know that if you pay them for any weed product in Australia and they do not deliver the actual product, you will not be able to report them to the authorities for stealing your money due to the fact that (unfortunately) weed in still illegal in Australia which puts us as ‘victims’ in an awkward position.
Here is my full story…
I ordered two THC vape cartridges that cost $50 each = $100. An additional $5 was charged for delivery. I gladly paid this expecting no surprises, right?
WRONG!
The next day, I asked Jared Michael Scarrott (Owner of registered company trading name ‘One Man Show’ , Business ABN: 33051819912) for an update on my order and I wanted to know when it will be delivered.
To my surprise, he had the audacity to ask me to “practice patience” and told me that I must pay an additional $300 for some weird shipping insurance that “will be paid back upon delivery”. I was instructed to pay the $300 into the same bank account as before when I paid for the physical product (Name: Jared Scarrott, BSB: 633123, Acc #: 201510971, Description: osko).
Silly me – I paid the additional $300…
I then asked him again: When can I expect delivery? He said: “Hopefully later today”. I then asked him to keep me updated and he said “I will thank you”.
After that message from him everything went downhill and the truth was revealed very quickly….
I did a quick search online for ‘Cannabis Shop Australia Scam’ , and WOW!! Here we are on dirtyscam.com!
I sent him screen shots over Whatsapp ( Contact #: +61280911708, Service provider: Optus ) of the few reviews written here about his online shop and asked him “What is this”? , and his reply was: “Let them provide you with the goods. Just go ask their customer service for the products”. He sent this message at 23:45 at night which was just another red flag for me…
And that was the last I heard of Jared Michael Scarrott AKA “Cannabis Shop Australia”.
The next morning I went on to conduct an easy in-depth search of who this guy and company really is, who he personally associates with, who his family members are, where he went to school and where he currently lives.
I’ll tell you everything I know about this guy and this company so that you can do what you want with the information. I promise you, they may act clever but they are really, really stupid. Social media and the internet can be your best friend when you are trying to find someone.
Jared Michael Scarrott does not live or work in Sydney. This online store “Cannabis Shop Australia” is NOT located in Sydney as the website states. Jared lives in Perth and his registered company is located in Perth, Wilson area, postal code 6107. You can see more of this info here: https://abr.business.gov.au/AbnHistory/View?id=33051819912 .
Social Media shows that Jared Scarrott went to MT Lawley Senior High School located in Perth. He is around the age of 29-35 and originally from New Zealand – I could tell from his and his friends accents that they are not Australian born and raised.
It also seems that Jared has a partner in crime: Curtis Bodean. It seems like they have been buddies for a long time and also went to the same high school. Custis posted a question on Facebook recently asking: “Anyone got their email as there pay I’d? If so can you help me out” – Nobody replied to his question. It is not a coincidence that Jared Scarrott also asked me over Whatsapp if I chose email address when I was making the payment for the physical product over Pay ID to his bank account.
These guys look and act like absolute scumbags. Reckless behaviour in their everyday life is evident just by looking at their pictures on social media. I wish I could attach images and videos to this post for you to see their faces, hear their voices and know their names.

It appears that some of the people above hang out together on a regular basis in Perth, look the same, dress the same, and act the same. Some have missing teeth, allow their young children to act out with reckless behaviour for ‘fun’ and so much more.

Best advice I have for you living in Australia if you are looking for some weed: Until it is legalised here, plant the seed yourself in the comfort of your own home. Save yourself the money, stress and utter disappointment.

The Cannabis SHOP should be renamed “THE SCAMABIS SHOP” At first the website looks good however after making a purchase they then require a $ 300 insurance payment. (Supposedly refundable after delivery). Then, surprisingly they require you to rent a Diplomatic Seal for $500 or they are unable to forfill your delivery. When you don’t pay this all contact with this company is lost and your money has gone. SCUM!
