ARJ Group
All I can say is, stay away. All I can say is, stay away. ARJ’s prices will make it tempting to work with them, but the work quality is poor, slow, and done without even easy to get permits– despite their commitment to comply with applicable codes and regulations. The sales guy/manager we have worked with is very friendly but will say “yes” to every proposal and every deadline and then becomes non-responsive when things go wrong. This has happened again…and again…and again… We have had meetings about this issue where ARJ swears up and down that it will get back on track and improve communications only to fail to show up and go unresponsive again THE VERY SAME DAY. ARJ promised us that it would easily meet certain interim deadlines, only to reveal, weeks and months later, that it never even ordered the components needed to get the job done. The quality of the work looks like something you might pay your neighbor’s teenager to do with un-level floors, uneven joints, protruding nails, cracked wood, and the cheapest materials. ARJ’s workers have shown little consideration for our safety or property– damaging a brand new deck, scratching brand new floors, leaving a bathroom flooded for us to find upon our return from work, even using our clothing as rags on one of the few occasions when they bothered to clean up. On multiple occasions, the managers have “forgotten” that a certain project is covered by our contract. If you’re not convinced and you DO decide to work with ARJ, make absolutely sure you structure the contract so that at least half of the payment is not due until the project is complete. Once ARJ had over half of our payment, work slowed to a crawl. We’re at the point where it’s a good week if they show up once. Will update the review with any significant further developments as work continues…
