Allied Mortgage Group

The Worst mortgage company

Allied Mortgage Group is the worst Mortgage company on earth. You are lucky if you didn’t get to work with this company.

All the staff I worked with in this company are good lairs.

They basically lure you in and after you submit all the documents, they start to give you major delays or go MIA because they know you can’t go anywhere else.

I totally agreed with the previous reviewers. I almost had to get a lawyer involved to get the loan or I will lose the house.

My nightmare started after I submitted all the documents, but it didn’t end after the loan is closed.

It took this company 30 days to do some kind of “post loan review” and it hugely delayed my contractor’s payments.

My loan is a construction loan. This “post loan review” was supposed to take no more than one week but it took them 4 weeks!

And my contractor had to stop the work to wait for the payments!

I would give them 0 stars or negative stars if I could. I don’t remember or lost counting how may times I had to call or emails their loan officers or managers trying to push the process and they all sounded they really don’t care about your situations.

Make sure you run away as fast as you could!

  1. Great service and support!

Great service and support! They were consistently checking in, answering all my questions and concerns.

  2. Do not waste your time!

Our story is the same as Mel H.’s however after two extensions and Allied requesting a third 30 day extension, it was rejected by the seller and we lost the house. We dealt with four different people at this company, and one was fired in the middle of our loan being processed.

We were told something different by each person and all of them talked bad about the other. No one what was actually going on and instead of telling us they didn’t know they would lie and tell us we should expect our file to be out of underwriting in two days, then come to find out they never even sent it to the underwriters.

One processor called us, said our file was out and we once they tied up a few backend items we would have the loan closed in three days. Not even ten minutes later we get a call from someone else that said there is no way they were closing the loan because they never requested our appraisal to be transferred from our previous lender and there was not enough time to order a new one.

We were working with a different lender in the beginning and switched to Allied they promised they would close this loan in days. Nothing they told us was the truth, they lied to us from the beginning and we lost a lot of money and the house we worked so hard to get.

  3. Please do not get involved with this group.

I agree with the previous comments. Once you see Allied Mortgage, rrrrruuuunnnnn……. These people have promised 4 different mortgage commitment dates which change a day or two after the previous commitment. In result, four different settlement dates.

With this unprofessionalism, the seller sent us an addendum to terminate the contract the day before the final commitment day. Because of them, I lost over $1,200 In out of pocket expenses.

This torture was over a period of six months. The worst agony of my life. It felt like giving birth. Please do not get involved with this group.

  4. The guy was creepy and I seriously think this is just a identity theft ring or something

I received a letter from them with some fictitious interest rates on it, with no indication of what company sent it. I called to see who it was. They answered with their company name after I asked them for it. I then thanked the guy and hung up. Should have been the end of it.

The guy called me back to see why I did not want to talk to them. I told him that he answered my question and then I thanked him and hung up, and I thanked him again at that point and hung up. The arrogant little SOB called back to ask why I hung up again. I again ran through the sequence of event that transpired just 1 minute earlier and hung up again.

He called back again to ask why I was so fast to hang up. Honestly at this point I was thinking about taking harassment charges against him. I just hung up, a few seconds later the phone rang again. This time I just answered and immediately hung up on him. The guy was creepy and I seriously think this is just a identity theft ring or something

  5. If I could give zero stars, I would.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the worst, most dishonest company I’ve ever worked with. It took forever to close, and they told me that after I did,

I could convert my FHA loan to conventional for no cost after four payments. That was a blatant lie. I am now refinancing a year later to clean up the mess they made. Run fast!
