I received a check from Mariner Finance because I qualified for a loan.
I did read the APR,I also knew I had 10 days before my first payment was due.
And was fine with that because I wasn’t going to keep it open for that long, I cashed the check and went online to their website to pay the loan back, but was told they couldn’t process my request, then I received an email stating the same thing, and that I would be getting a phone call withing the next 24hr so I could log in.
I finally received that phone call, the first business day after my 10 day grace period, and now she wanted me to give her all kinds of bank information over the phone and now I’m being charge an additional $2.58 a day because I’m late making the first payment, which I wanted to do when I tried doing it online.
This is not cool, I had mentioned the email, and she states that “OH yeah that was me” WHAT, yes that was you, now you want to call me past my 10 day grace to have me give you my bank and routing number over the phone to make a payment.
NOT going to happen!!!!, and you are not going to waive the couple of days interest because you never contacted me, after I told you I was waiting for your phone call from almost 2 weeks ago? I guess that good for the business but not good customer service,
Very doubtful if I’ll ever do business with you again!
