The office is very small and is always overcrowded with asians in elementary, middle and high school with their parents. There is virtually no privacy at this office, they have 4 work areas. 3 of which are bunched into a small open room and the last in a room the size of a small bathroom.
There is also a no cell phone policy at this office. If they catch you with a cell phone out while you’re waiting, they will yell at you until you put it away. This type of practice is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
The employee dentists here are also extremely talkative and exceptionally rude (expectially the caucasian blonde who wears glasses). The several times that I’ve been here, the dentists would pause to watch TV while working inside of a child’s mouth. The average wait time to be seated is 30 minutes. The average wait time for an employee or for Dr.Chin to talk to you is 10 minutes. Taking those into consideration, an average appointment will take at least 50 minutes on a non busy day. On a weekday after 2pm you can expect to be in the office for 1hour +.
Dr.Chin is a very greedy man, his price quotes change based on his mood and on a day to day basis. It’s true that if you want a nice straight smile you’ll have to pay a pretty penny; however it’s impractical to charge people based on emotion.
SUMMARY OF MY POINTS
1) It’s crowded with predominately asian children and their parents
2) Long wait time to be seated
3) Talkative and distracted employees
4) Inconsistent prices based on Dr.Chin’s mood
5) If you plan on having your phone out, you must leave the office
