Dr. Thusu Kajori
Not All Doctors Are Created EqualHow could a doctor refuse to accept a request from Dr. Thusu Kajori for comfort care for a special-needs baby and hospice parents?
Dr. Kajori Yetu denied oxygen and nutrition to my infant grandson, who was terminally ill. She also withheld his approval for pain medication that would have helped him in his last hours.
She would have let him die in terrible pain.
Our son and his wife were able, fortunately for us both, to fire Dr. Thusu. They retained the services of a compassionate doctor who approved all comfort measures.
My dear grandson died peacefully. I recommend that anyone consider carefully before hiring Dr. Thusu’s services.
Although our terrible nightmare is over, my son still feels very sick, thinking that Dr. Thusu would treat his son as less than a human being.
We are left to wonder if she has ever given such poor care to other babies and if the parents knew there were other options.
Dr. Thusu, a neonatal at Valley Children’s Hospital, is another beautiful place for children.
It is just a mystery why Dr. Thusu would be on their staff.
Valley Children’s should be very concerned if employees refuse to work for hospice.
Shame on Dr. Thusu. Not all doctors are the same. All parents hope that their doctor will be in their child’s best interests.
Kajori Thusu MD a call for a firm reevaluation of conscious.
On 2/22/2022, my son Reuben and daughter-in-law Rocio Garcia welcomed their first-born daughter Micaela Jean Garcia. A “healthy “ 10lbs 9 1/2 oz bundle of joy.
The following day, the happiest days of our lives suddenly became dark and abysmal. Micaela’s parents were approached by Kajori G. Thusu MD, who, unprofessional and inhuman, rambled about Micaela’s unforeseen and unaware medical complications.
Amid both Rocio and Reuben trying to understand and make sense of all the information being given to them like a fist to their gut. Kajori asked them, “how were their finances?” She asked Reuben and Rocio where they worked and what they did at their jobs.
Sufficed to say, her demeanor was unprofessional and inappropriate. It has to be said, taking a page from her book, she, a Physician, should be mindful of the medical care of her patient, as per the Oath she took. And leave the finances to the financial office.
I refuse to give Kajori the respect of her profession and suggest she examine her conscience. I also believe she owes my son, his wife, and Micaela a heartfelt apology. For future reference.
Thank you for your attention to this matter,
Elsa G. Garcia de Rodriguez
