I used to love this office. Dr. Chang is great and his staff used to be as well.
Now, I can’t get appointments in a timely fashion.
The front desk staff refers patients to urgent care or the hospital.
Walk-in hours (4-5p) do not work for me, and previous staff would help work with me.
The current staff, both the manager and the first person who answered, were rude and told me that I should skip work to make it to the office hours.
In the past, the staff would make sure Dr. Chang would get back to me.
More than once they didn’t mass the message on and I have completely stopped getting return calls.
** To highlight this: the staff actually yelled at me.
I was upset, in pain, and extremely frustrated and rather than being empathetic and helping me work through the issue, they yelled at me!
It was extremely unprofessional. In fast food industries employees are taught that this kind of treatment is not okay.
It is completely unacceptable from staff who are working with sick patients.
