I called to set up an app for a consult with Dr. Grotting and thank goodness I asked questions before I wasted a trip. I have been getting fillers and botox for 10 or so years, so I know what works for ME and what doesn’t so I asked for Rystalane to fill mHHy wrinkles instead of the more used Juvederme. Well the person that answered the phone for Dr. Grotting side of the practice tried to sell me on Juvederme and Radiance over and over even though I said Ive tried Juvederme and telling her multiple times that it dissipates in MY face within 2 months and that Rystalane stays in my face for years. I know what works for me. Im not wasting my money on Juvederme when in 2 months of getting it it is totally gone in my face. But she said they couldn’t order Rystalane and only used Juvederme and Radianne, how can a dr not order what the patient and client feels works better for them? Just really odd. They also said they didn’t do fillers like Rystalane Silk for neck lines like the better plastic surgeons do. Get on the computer and look at what more up to date plastic surgeons are doing, like using a cannula to fill neck lines with soft fillers like Rystalane Silk. Just really out dated to rely on peels and super down time microderm. Those don’t usually work for the tree lines around the neck anyway. Youd have to peel down so far that the down time would be enormous. Please get into the times and use newer procedures. Ive lived all over and this area, Birmingham, Al, seems to be behind everywhere else Ive lived in plastic surgery and filler procedures.
