Bad Experience. I selected Dr. Guido Gores as my primary care physician under my health plan last year.
I met with him once. After our meeting, he ordered some lab tests and, at my request, provided referrals to specialists for certain of my health issues.
After about three weeks when I did not receive the results of the lab tests, I called his office and I was informed that they would follow up.
Within a few days, Dr. Gores called me and told me that he had reviewed my “old” health records and he described a specific concern.
When I asked him about the lab tests he ordered, he said he couldn’t recall seeing them and he would call me in couple of days.
After several days not hearing from him, I called his office to remind them that he said he would call me.
After several more days of not hearing from Dr. Gores, I decided to select a new PCP because of his lack of communications and my desire for a doctor who I could trust.
