Last year I filed my taxes At Diversity Financial & Insurance Services because I was non resident and could not find where to get my taxes done for an affordable price.
It took me 5 months to get my refund and more than 7 visits to this office and endless phone calls to find out what happened.
The worst is that this year I went again because they call me asking if I wanted to get my taxes done.
Well. I said: let’s try again. It cannot be worse. I was wrong. Sam e-filed my taxes on February.
Since then, I have been calling them and visiting the office asking them why I haven’t gotten my refund yet.
Answer? Ridiculously the same: Oh, let us call the IRS. Every week, every time I visit the office, they tell me the same thing, or they just say: We don’t know why they are holding your refund.
I have called them more than 12 times since February.
You will never get a phone call from them if it is not to convince you to make an appointment the first time.
I went to this office every Saturday morning to receive the same answer: We will call the IRS on Monday.
What turns out now is that I call the IRS myself to find out that the e-file was rejected by the IRS so if I hadn’t found out this right now, I would have lost my money because the time window is close to expire.
They even told me that they have called the IRS! Another time I called them and they told me there was a virus in the system so they couldn’t check the status. I swear. I am patient person.
I’ve never seen such a terrible customer service like this. Never ever. We are not talking about customer service. It is something else.
These people are literally liars and they don’t know what they are doing.
Just stop by the office and take a look. You will smell it everywhere.
I don’t understand how come this office is still opened.
I made the mistake of not trusting the last bad (and almost unique) bad review this place had here. Now I regret. Don’t do the same.
