To get things started I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance to let them know I needed a physical for Army ROTC.
The person on the phone was very helpful and assured me that even if I arrived early to my scheduled appointment that they would be able to see me right away.
However after arriving day of 30 mins early they seemed very busy, but I was glad I had made an appointment.
I approached the front desk and was greeted by a glassed over lazy eyed employee who got the necessary paperwork for me to fill out then at that time they made the note that “it” would be about 4 hours.
Calmly I responded with “I had made an appointment.” The reiterated as if I hadn’t said anything at all that “it” would be about 4 hours.
I returned to a seat and began fill out my information confused why they were downright unprofessional in their promise and respect to patients own schedules.
I was sure to ask plenty of questions about the necessary paperwork as not to get anything wrong. Once completed, shortly after arriving,
I waited 30 mins, at this time my appointment should have begun, however they decided now was the best time to let me know that there were 2 more sheets I needed to fill out and sign.
Once again I reminded them calmly that I had an appointment for 5:00. Which was then.
They assured me after I returned the final paper work that they would see me shortly.
While roaming around the waiting area I often noticed 3 occurrences that seemed very strange.
Some of the other patrons had clipped cash to their paperwork.
Now I don’t know about you, but that seems quite a lot like bribery.
So naturally these people who arrived after me seem to magically get to be called sooner.
During the time I continued to wait I began to wonder if they merely had some sort of preconceived issue with people who wanted to serve in their countries armed forces, however I will never know for sure.
After another hour after the 2nd round of paper work they finally saw me for my appointment.
The actual professional staff was very kind and easy to work with and by the end the front desk minions just wanted me to leave before I could notice any more of their crappy attitudes and they unwillingness to do their job to any ability worth being commended for.
