As a part of the college controversial scandal which saw the involvement of many celebrities paying sums such as $15000 to get their son’s and daughter’s answer changed on SAT examination, Felicity Huffman was charged with spending time in jail, community service, and supervised release.

The judgment came after the fifty-seven-year-old actress admitted to having paid Rick Singer $15000 for correcting her daughter Sophia’s SAT answers correct. Her representatives confirmed how she completed the full sentence for her part in the college cheating scandal on October the 25th.

Huffman is known to have served 11 days of the 14 days prison time last October, but she was also charged with 250 hours of community service as well as a supervised release for a complete year. It is to be noted how Huffman was one of the many parents who, when suspected in this scandal, pleaded guilty for conspiring to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in May 2019.

She said,” There are no excuses or justifications for my actions. Period. I would like to apologize again to my daughter, my husband, my family, and the educational community for my actions. And I especially want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices supporting their children.”

Another actress Lori Laughlin who is also charged, but serving a period of two months in jail which is much more than what Huffman was charged to pay $150000 fine and complete 150 hours of community service pleaded not guilty for conspiring the bribery, then decided to take a plea deal.

Lori’s husband Mossimo Giannuli is also charged to spend five months in jail as well as $250000 fine with 250 hours of service for his part in this controversial scandal. The celebrity duo will report to jail on November 19th.
