Westerra Credit Union – Auror...

Westerra Is A Joke

Good luck trying to access your money on a weekend. The online and mobile app for Westerra Credit Union – Aurora Branch is a joke.

The system is down the majority of the time and when it is working you can’t access your account anyway.

On multiple occasions, the system either didn’t recognize my credentials or locked me out and told me to contact customer service – which is closed anytime outside of 9 to 5 m-f.

So literally no access to my funds!

One multiple occasions I was not able to access my accounts via the ATM.

Their excuse, “your account is not setup for having a debit card”

What is this card in my hand, that Westerra issued me?

  1. Do not bank with westerra

I can honestly say that if I was at another credit union I would have food in my fridge. My significant other’s identity was stolen, we can’t afford any food now, and westerra will do nothing.

This is on top of three previous experiences of a teller putting my paycheck into someone else’s account. Three Times! Do not bank with westerra

  2. A bit disappointing by any means.

I’m not sure what to think anymore. I received my paycheck and went to the bank on Friday, March 30 to withdraw $800 to pay rent. The teller counted it out in front of me, then put it in an envelope and sealed it, which was strange because normally people don’t seal the envelope.

I didn’t count the money a second time and of course, that is my fault. When I went to pay rent, I had $700 so for this mistake, I paid nearly a day’s wages. I can’t really prove anything about this incident, but be careful. Count out your money no matter how much you withdraw. If the bank teller seals it,

open it and count it. Don’t get into so much of a hurry that you trust blindly. I guess that dropped my trust in the bank quite a bit. At the same time, perhaps mistakes happen. Perhaps she miscounted. I am not sure but that does not change the fact that now I paid $100 for going to my bank to make a withdrawal. A bit disappointing by any means.
