Lack Of Customer Service

Weokie Credit Union: We just moved to this area. We do not have a local bank or local credit union but we used the ATM drive thru at Weokie Credit Union in Moore.

We withdrew $200.00 from our out of state credit union account. Instead of being issued $20’s we received all $5’s.

Because it was too thick to carry in his pocket my husband went inside the bank requesting bigger bills.

He was told if he didn’t have an account with Weokie there was nothing they could do.

Seriously? Their ATM issued the bills. My husband explained he had a credit union out of state.

It didn’t matter to the teller because it wasn’t with Weokie.. WOW.

We had thought about checking out local credit unions.. Guess what? It most definitely will NOT be with Weokie because of their lack of customer service..

    I recently became the victim of identity theft

    I recently became the victim of identity theft. I went to Weokie to close out my accounts and open new ones. My account was drained and there were overdraft charges. 3 hours later the accounts were closed and new ones reopened.

    I ordered a new debit card and checks, or so I thought. I followed up 10 days later as I hadn’t received either and was told they were on their way and to be patient. 10 additional days have passed and still no replacement checks or debit card.

    I followed up again this morning only to be told the checks and card were never ordered in the first place. I asked if they could rush the debit card as this has been a huge inconvenience for a month now. The gentleman on the phone immediately said “NO”, you have to wait the 7-10 days.

    I stated that I had already waited that timeframe x3… He didn’t seem to care and that it wasn’t his problem. Very disappointed in this credit union and overall lack of customer service. Identity theft is very stressful but the credit union was not there for me to ease the burden in any way!!

    these people are a complete ripoff.

    these people are a complete ripoff. they will charge you overdraft fees because their system is days behind.they are also very rude and horrible to deal with

    Bad Service Provide

    have a auto loan and have had full coverage ins. on it from day one! and my ins company has sent proof of ins 4-5 times and I get a call from weokie stating they put insurance on my loan making my payment go 225.00 more a month from what i pay now and i said hell no!

    and so once again my Insurance Co. sent proof again and now PETE told me they did rec. proof finally but ive called 3 times today to make sure they took all charges off and guess what cant find PETE at all left 2 voice mails and no return call yet! not good service
