I really dislike giving bad reviews but the Water and Power Community Credit Union truly deserves one.
I needed copies of banking paperwork and was told by the call center representative that I could either go to a branch or fax the request.
I was in San Francisco, so faxing was my only option.
Here is where trouble started: the people at the call center have no information.
They do not know the fax number in which I was to fax the request, nor did they know a phone number/anyway to contact the branch to get that information.
I called during business hours at least 6 times. Not one person could give me any information.
And of the 6 call center representatives, only 1 person actually seemed to care about not being able to help.
One woman actually said “well, what do you want me to do? I don’t have the information”. What customer service.
I am most likely going to bank somewhere else in the near future, and I strongly suggest staying away from WPCU.
One good incident: I went into the Sun Valley Branch, and Jeanette Cabrera listened to me and was actually able to help me, she was apologetic for what I had been through and had a nice disposition.
