  1. very dishonest person.

The only thing you can really do at a shared branch is deposit BUT if you make a deposit at a shared branch be prepared for an extremely long holding period before your deposit will be available in your account. If you are withdrawing, it has to be under a certain amount. If you need a certified check you will be told to go to Viriva.

If you experience a problem when Viriva isn’t open you have to wait until they are which means you will be stuck, unable to access your funds or do absolutely anything about it until someone gets to work & answers the phone. Sometimes they are willing to help and work with you but it always depends on the teller you get. Most can help you they just choose not to. There are some very nice accommodating tellers but like I said, it all depends on who answers the phone.

Tanya is extremely nice and so is Nancy. Unfortunately, if you get anyone else on the phone you are out of luck they are extremely rude and unwilling to help & quite frankly just don’t care. Viriva got 2 stars from me but if it wasn’t for Tanya & Nancy it would have been negative two.

  2. Never Again

They are in the stone ages. If you’re in an emergency situation you are given ZERO options but to WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! Other banks/credit unions can print a new card on the spot. Viriva takes over a week to mail it to you. Personal checks take 5 business days to clear.

My coworkers payroll checks always deposit into their credit unions/banks a day before mine is available. Their hours are awful – only open during business hours when most of us are working. They do offer “shared branching” but it’s completely useless since there are often times you are told the system is down and they can not access your account.

Also, there are only certain things you can do at the shared branch locations – most of the time you are told you have to go directly to Viriva.
