Unfortunately, my experience was not that great! I called Chelini because of a shower and basin tap water dripping, and although they came out quickly to assess what needs to be done, they took 3 weeks to offer different faucet designs that could be installed and took another week to install them. I paid for the replacement of two faucets and a new flapper in the toilet $1535, which is excessive!

    We just got a bill from them for $650 based on 1h of work and $95 in parts. I wish I had a $555 hourly rate! As an explanation: “we have lots of flat fees.” No effort to work with us on this. We had had a (mostly) positive experience in the past, but this second experience will remain our last

    I used A.B. Chelini for many years and even after they changed to United Service Specialist. I had so so results but, I like to be loyal to local businesses.

    So I called them to replace the faucet on my kitchen sink. The same sink they had fixed less than a year ago. Anyway, I purchased a sink at HD and simply needed it installed. When I received the bill I was shocked that they had charged my cc $390. I called and they sent me a copy of the invoice. Sure enough, they charged me for the sink I had already purchased.

    My first call ended with the owner saying he would refund me the charge and redo the bill. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I called back to find out what the hold up was. The owner goes into every excuse not to refund me my money including that the customer has to pay for the gas and the cost of him leasing the office space where they were located. Completely bizarre world.

  3. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing and HVAC needs, especially if you are looking for a new and better HVAC system.

    My wife and I just bought a new home, and we needed an HVAC technician and plumber to address safety and efficiency issues flagged by our inspector. Our agent recommended AB Chelini, so we went with them. They were great. They solved all of our issues and gave us sound advice on upgrading our system and a fair price to do all the work.

    We confirmed that the price was fair and advice sound by talking to another company. Now we have a state-of-the-art HVAC system that is far more energy efficient. Plus, the staff–from sales to installers and plumbers–strike me as all very competent, professional, and eager to do the right thing for their clients.

  4. While I hope to not need their service in their near future,

    I kept hearing my toilet running and making a dripping noise which I knew wasn’t as simple as the flap needing adjusting. I reached out to United Service Specialists who got back to me that day and scheduled the plumber to come out the next day. The plumber was very knowledgeable and solved my problem.

    I essentially got the entirety of the inside of my toilet replaced and in proper working order. At first, I was disappointed that the service fee was not included in the total price after the work was completed,

    but I was able to speak with the owner and work out a solutions that worked for both parties. While I hope to not need their service in their near future, I would call them again.
