Fake "Check" Junk Mails

Unison is sending me those fake “check” junk mails all the time. You know, the horrid things where you have to rip off the ends and stuff to open it.

It looks like a check or a tax document, but even though you don’t know who is sending it to you or why you would be getting one right now, you kinda have to look.

What if the IRS changed their look a little or something.

Which of course Unison is banking on. Literally.

Well, that is a sign of a garbage moral core underpinning the business model.

  1. Don’t do it!!

If I could give a – negative score I would.. it’s real simple.. if you want to keep yourself out of quicksand then stay away from Unison .. for a small investment on their part, you’ll soon loose all your equity… they make it almost impossible to refinance or buy them out.. as they increasingly pillage all your equity.

  2. Scam

They take 75% of value to your home. They do not loose any money you do. They are big time sharks. Be aware this is not a real company, you submit your papers they finance you via bank loan and set them selfs as primarily lenders. Is 100% safer and better to use a refi company or bank. Unison is a scam. If you loose your home you are The only person the lender goes after. If your home gains value you loose 75%.

  3. Fake checks ya right don't go there.

Junk mail company go to your local company you can sit across a desk and talk to some one that cares about helping. Stay away and I really don’t like them sending me junk. I have to pay to get rid of it. Fake checks ya right don’t go there.

  4. uncompassionate individuals whose only service is unto themselves.

Thinking of using your property as an investment? Need extra cash?
Unison may be the answer but only if you can cope with greedy, uncompassionate individuals whose only service is unto themselves.
I got suckered into their web, and find myself with no way out. I received a five figure initial payout, in return for sharing any increase or decrease in my property value over time., I spoke with a “program specialist” in Michigan who convinced me this was the way to go.

  5. It isn't a scam, but sure comes pretty darn close.

Biggest waste of time. We acted in good faith, they did not. They use their “special appraisers” to keep the current value low. They can drag this out week after week, changing the offer.

They only want desperate idiots willing to jump through hoops to ensure their best interest, we just walked away and so should you. Heloc’s aren’t so bad. At least they don’t want 70 percent of your future equity. It isn’t a scam, but sure comes pretty darn close.

  6. Scammer

Cheesy come ons rarely bode well.

  7. Don't waste your time.

Don’t waste your time. The process is so slow and they get your home appraised but for a lower value than what it should, so they get a bigger profit when the deal concludes. This is a scam.
