To clarify, Troy K Vigill runs a combination office offering Allstate Insurance and CPA/Tax services, so my review pertains to his CPA services.
I first hired him back in February of 2018 to handle my bookkeeping and generate monthly P&L reports.
The P&L reports were crucial to me, because my business has a massive monthly marketing budget and my expenses were getting somewhat out of control.
I expressed to him just how crucial it was that I start receiving P&L statements ASAP to get a handle on things.
It took me about 2 weeks max to get him access to all of my accounts, etc.
Problem was, the girls in his office would never quickly access my accounts once I gave them the online access codes, instead sitting on them for several days until they timed out.
Then 2 weeks later I’d get another call stating they needed me to have the bank send the same password again.
This type of disorganization literally dragged on for months… until I realized 5 months had passed and I still hadn’t received my first P&L yet.
However, the one thing his office was extremely efficient at was billing my account $400 per month!
They couldn’t figure out how to get the basic information out of my account, but they sure didn’t have any problem taking money out of it, like clockwork.
In addition to producing P&L Statements, they were supposed to take over my payroll duties as well.
Mind you, this took my previous payroll guy a couple days to set up… but not Troy Vigil.
Once again, his office was hired to transition it in February, but couldn’t figure out a basic payroll transfer until 5 months later in July.
After asking around our office, I learned that he had screwed up the tax returns for several other agents in our office, and made basic errors like failing to file extensions for people etc.
Overall, this office is a train wreck, and a rip-off. Don’t waste your time, or risk your business finances with them.
