My wife brought our soon-to-be-nanny (STBN) The Fair Share to get a LiveScan/background check done before we hired her.
Your employee was markedly and unnecessarily rude, turning what would have been a routine task into a stressful event.
The employee repeatedly questioned our STBN’s responses in a dubious tone – “are you sure your eyes are brown?” Later, STBN misread one of the questions on the form.
Instead of just simply pointing out the error, she felt it was appropriate to make accusatory statements like, “Are you sure you want me to run this driver’s license? Once I swipe it, you can’t undo it.” and “Who knows, the Department of Justice might not like you.”
Her tone insinuated that our STBN was a criminal or shady person of character – entirely without validation.
We felt that our STBN was unfairly victimized during this encounter.
We cannot speak to the customer service you provide your tax accounting clients but we really hope you don’t treat them this way as well.
We definitely are never coming back.
