The Brad Korb Real Estate Group

An Extremely Disappointing, Unpleasant And Frustrating Experienc

Brad talked the talk during his impressive presentation, but sadly didn’t walk the walk.

The property for sale, in question, was vacant, realtors came and went, courtesy of several lockboxes, and on at least 4 occasions – very likely more – doors and windows were left unlocked, and at times, even left wide open.

Very lax and unprofessional. An extremely disappointing, unpleasant and frustrating experience.

  1. I wouldn't want to work with their usual lender again.

I liked working with Erica Pollack, our agent. She was our lucky charm. The first time we looked, the first house we looked at, the offer was accepted. There were really no counteroffers.

Brad was really nice and had great customer service skills. He reached out to me a couple of times and was very helpful. Also, I liked that they offered a moving truck. One less thing to stress about!

I would like to work with Erica and Brad again in a couple of years when I sell the house to buy a bigger one. I have talked highly about them to my friends. However, I wouldn’t want to work with their usual lender again.

  2. Do what's best for YOU and your family!

Never again! He’s a prince to you before you sign the contract to sell the house, then he becomes the king of his castle and too busy to keep you informed himself. We were passed from assistant to assistant after we signed, never speaking to him again.

Then the worst happened: we had several offers on our home and were willing to accept one in particular, 80% cash. He advised us to hold off accepting the offer as he was told more offers were coming in. Well there were two offers above asking price and he said we should definitely accept one of those, even though they weren’t as “golden” as the lower cash offer because loans would need to be approved.

We took the highest offer on his advisement and the house didn’t appraise high enough, so the buyer walked away. We then accepted the second offer and he put a contingency in there that if the home didn’t meet appraisal amount, the buyer would kick in the additional. 3 weeks later, that buyer didn’t qualify for the loan.

Here we were making additional 3 months worth of payments on a home that could have been sold months earlier. That 80% cash buyer had moved on of course.

  3. What a disappointing experience we had trying to purchase a house through this realtor!

It was impossible for our agent to get in contact with Brad. We were constantly being shuffled around by different members of his “team.” Returned emails or calls would only come two days later!

They countered our offer with a “best and final” request and a form saying we would know by the next day….We offered their asking price with a full pre-qual letter and 20% down, and 9 days later we were still in the dark while this guy let our full-price offer lapse without a word.

Finally, after multiple emails and unreturned calls, one of his assistants responded to our realtor, via email, saying that they finally accepted someone else’s offer.

Our realtor also found out that Korb’s team also represented the buyer as well! I guess that is the perfect situation for THEM. Unethical and unfair. Thanks for killing our dreams with your greed, Brad Korb team!

  4. STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! Don’t deal with Brad or his team on buying or selling any property. If you’re trying to buy a property he is selling, he will never talk to your agent, never answer any questions. You will have to talk to an assistant who has no idea what’s going on.

I offered asking price on a property he was selling and didn’t get a response for 3 days. All my agent got was a letter saying there were multiple offers and to submit my highest bid by 5PM. After increasing my offer another $10,000 and resubmitting by the 5PM deadline,

I drove by the place the next day to show a friend the location… only to find out Brad and his team had an OPEN HOUSE! So after the FINAL BID deadline, they had an open house the next day….

  5. No Stars for Brad

I would recommend you stay clear of him In my humble opinion he is unethical , controlling and more concerned about marketing and promoting himself than assisting you
