Tecademics

I lost my money with Tecademics

Like many other MLM programs, I found the attractive pay-outs with Tecademics, online. There is no doubt that they have set up a great foundation for online visitors. I was blown away after checking out the details of the profits and progress one can make through their program. They have clearly mentioned that they have done everything to make their program, a hit. However, I never got a chance to be a part of it because they never sent my course details and the package was never dispatched. In other words, they took away my money for nothing.

I went through the entire course details before making any payments. I found a lot of praises and people’s feedback about the big money that they made from this program. I was looking for such program from a long time. I did a lot of research to come to the final decision. When exploring the program details, I found out that their internet course was backed up with a single tier MLM program which fascinated me the most. Unaware of the consequences, I paid for the IMPACT module.

Let me scroll through the details of the company and its program and how it is a scam.

Who is behind Tecademics?
Before you make any decision of joining this program, do a little research about the founders and the name associated behind the scenes. Tecademics operates from Arizona, USA and Chris Record, widely known for the failures he made with his prior venture, is the one who founded Tecademics. His name itself is a big red flag.

Apart from Chris Record, Jim Piccolo, who is even more dangerous to be trusted, is leading the MLM scheme within Tecademics. He is a man with many controversies which are still unsolved. There are lawsuits against him which you can easily find on the web. Many times, he has filed for bankruptcy as well. The most important fact is that, whichever company he was associated with, none of them got off the floor. There is a lot of doubt for Tecademics as well.

The company is a big illusion and is offering internet marketing courses. There are various modules and the courses are expensive.

Tecademics Products
There are three products that Tecademics are selling. The first one is the TEC. This one is an online learning course and is designed for beginners. If you have no knowledge about internet marketing and you are interested dig more, this is the product for you. It will cost you $100 per month. However, the course that they are selling with a price tag, is easily available online for free. So, I believe that spending $100 a month, is a total waste of money. You can get a lot more information that they are offering, without any cost associated to it. This fee is essentially to get a free ticket to their MLM program which has a cost, if you are not enrolled with any of the programs at Tecademics.

The second program which is for $2000, is IMPACT. They have termed it as the Encyclopaedia of Internet Marketing”. This is the program that I enrolled for. However, I did not get a chance to see the benefits rolling in. This is a home-based study program and includes online videos, seminars, study materials and workbooks. You get the material at your home which is couriered once you have paid the amount for the program. After learning about flop shows of Chris Record and Jim Piccolo, it was foolish of me to spent $2000 for this course.

The third and the most expensive module is the Masters. This is a partner program and has a college like theme. You need to pay $10000 to get in with your partner. You get 120 credit hours and the duration is of 2 years. Unlike their advertisement, there is rarely any one-on-one assistance offered. The course offers few great skills but is not worth for $10000.

Tecademics’s Compensation Program
How can we not expect an MLM program when Jim Piccolo is one of the names behind the company? The compensation plan seems easier, but is tricky. You need to understand the plan in depth to know its limits. All the plans are considered as separate tiers. You need to buy the program or sell it to an affiliate to become eligible for the compensation program.

You are paid 40% in commission which is $40 for TEC, $800 for IMPACT and $4000 for MASTERS. However, this commission is not the same, throughout the sale. For first sale, you make 40% in commission. IN second and third sale, the 40% commission is split between you and your uplink. So, you get 20%.

After making, three sales, you again get 40% commission on the next four ones and the fifth one is split between you and your uplink. This goes on and on and is true for all the modules.

The worst part is that, you do not get enough support in closing your sales. Though, they provide training through seminars and webinars. But, most of the niche programs offer support in closing the sales. So, why to invest in something that do not guarantee sales closing. The compensation plan can only be helpful if the sales are closed at the end of the day. So, whether the program is fascinating or not, unless you close the deal, the gains remain far away. This is the case with Tecademics.

Tecademics offers matching bonus as well. There are two bonuses offered. First one is when you earn $100,000 in commission and the second one is when you earn $1,000,000 in commission. At both the stages, you get paid an extra income matching the set target. However, there is a catch in this lucrative scheme. You need to reach these targets within 36 months which is close to impossible.

The genuineness of the program
Although, I did not get a chance to explore the nuances of the program, I can affirm that a program with people like Chris Record and Jim Piccolo associated to it, cannot stand for longer. Tecademics may have a great base, but the intentions of the founders make it dubious to spend such a huge amount straight away.

My experience makes it lucid that the program may have gathered a lot of attention in few months itself, but the motive closely reflects a scam. Paying $2000 was not easy for me and I expected a lot coming around. However, I was disappointed by their response.

When I paid for the course, I waited for few days and no material was sent. When I called them for an answer, the customer support asked me to wait for few more days. I called them back after few days and asked for a refund. When informed that it would take some time to be processed. But, I was out of time. They have a set time for filing refund which is too short to be utilized.

Tecademics’s Refund Policy
I would suggest going through their refund policy once. If you will compare other courses and affiliate programs, you will find a minimum of 15 days refund policy. However, in case of Tecademics, it stays for 7 days. When I made the payment, it took me few days to realize that I need to check with them for the status of my courier. Until, I decided to get a refund that 7 days policy lapsed. Hence, I did not get much time to make up my mind.

If you have enrolled for TEC module, there is no refund policy. You will have to cancel your subscription for avoiding any further deduction from your account.

I really had a rough time dealing with these people. The customer support was not at all helpful. I was not given the right information. I never received a courier from them. On top of that, I lost my $2000.

FINAL SAY
There are a lot of online programs that provide great learning and it is important to choose the right one. Tecademics, on the contrary, falls in the opposite category. There is nothing that you can gain from this program. After spending a huge amount, you come out starving for more. But, you will have to settle for less.

The affiliate program can get you some perks, given that you are ready to spend that kind of money to start at the initial stage and can make progress without personal support. These all problems that are way hidden behind the terms of joining Tecademics, can get you into trouble, if you are not prepared beforehand.

  1. Biggest scam ever

They are extremely cunning people. In each and every call they assured me that l was going to get hands on training, mentorship and guidance. I even told the guy that l dont have much money and l am not computer savvy either. And he wasike.yes we will teach you all that. After l paid for the course, the supposedly mentor just asked me if l watched the video and if l asked for any guidance on how to run Facebook ads and stuff, l was needed to pay for .ore courses, $1500, $2000. And they even mocked me that l was not putting enough effort into my business. I told the guy in the beginning that l dont want to do dropshipping. And they lied and said it’s more than drop shipping. Liars!!.
I hope they get sued by someone. I hope we can get our money back.

  2. Beware of Tecademics, IQUP, Chris Record, Jim Piccolo, Phil Lechter

Tecademics scammed me and hundreds of others out of $37,000 EACH. Not kidding. It came with a contract/money back guarantee. They have not held up their part of the contract needless to say. IQUP is their new venture, soon to go through a name change again. BEWARE. Anything Internet marketing needs to be carefully researched. If any of those names are involved, JUST DOn’T!

  3. Don't Be scammed by Tecademics

    DO NOT BE DECEIVED!
I bought their $2,000 impact package. They told me that I was partnering with them for success rather than winging it and failing alone.
They prey on the weak and ignorant. My biggest frustration was finding out that the 19 videos in their accelerator program are more about personal development than e-commerce. They videos are filled with stuff you can find on Tony Robins and other motivational speakers’ channels on YouTube. They said I would receive 10 sessions with a Master Business Strategist (MBS). What they didn’t mention was that the first 9 sessions were 5 or less minutes of this guy asking if I had completed the current assigned video and him unlocking the next video. The rest of the Impact Series Videos they provide can be found for free on Chris Record’s YouTube Channel or on other YouTube channels. Tecademics is practicing false advertising. They should tell buyers that the $2,000 is for a Shopify Website and not for e-commerce coaching like they claim. They claimed that someone would help me select a Shopify store, no one did. I had to blindly pick one on my own. They are a Shopify Website builder not ecommerce coaches and experts.

  4. Tecademics another online marketing Scam

I would agree and thank the person who wrote this review I was about to make my $2000 commitment today. I found my coach Shade fenn ( not quite sure) if that’s her real name super rude and I was told to get on call every day and if I missed by few minutes she would not answer ( on Skype) even though she did not call more than twice and she would always talk like hushing off every thing so I had a bad feeling from there and within 4-5 minutes she would just insist me to book an other appt and just sign up asap. So be aware every one not some thing worth wasting $2000
