TDECU’S online payment system is impossible to navigate through to make a payment.
Today I go in to the bank to make a payment on my loan to avoid the $10 “convenience” fee they charge to make a payment on the phone.
They inform me “we can longer take checks or ATM cards for payments, but “you could use our ATM to withdraw cash and make a payment sir at a small fee”.
Literally THE WORST BANKING experience you’ll ever have. Steer clear of them.
I’m sure next time I go to make a payment they will tell me “sir, there’s a convenience fee for not sending us a telegram that you were coming to make a payment, if you used Western Union we cannot accept that either.
You’d have to send a written request to make a payment by Pony Express, wait for our relply, then show up at your scheduled ‘make a payment meeting’ then any bills larger than $20 would require an additional fee for authentication! Have a great day”
