Horrible Experience
One star was too many; It was a terrible experience. Pat, the woman, was so lazy that she refused to do my taxes.
I am a realtor and needed to file back taxes. Pat said I could not claim my home office (false).
Pat also claimed I couldn’t assert my move from California to a job in property management (false).
After a rough estimate, she said I could not file 0 after all my deductions. The IRS would like to know how I survived without money.
I don’t know any Realtors who made money after deductions.
Pat called me a liar on the phone about my deductions, claiming that she had to do due diligence. (Due diligence means that I should be eligible to claim all of the DEDUCTIONS for which I am qualified.
Pat said she would not do my taxes and pick up all my papers from her office.
I took my paperwork and handed it in.
Pat said that the utilities you wish to claim are the same as last year.
My utilitieshouldn’t’t be the same as the year before since I used the same providers both years.
After agreeing, she finally stated that my return was beyond her reach.
Pat is nothing but a lazy bookkeeper.
DO NOT GO THERE UNTIL YOU ARE OK WITH THE IRS RECEIVING MORE OF YOUR MONEY THEY SHOULD.
PAT DOES NOT WANT TO WORK FOR You; SHE WOULD MAKE MORE MONEY FOR THEIRS!

We are extremely saddened that Janis C. feels she had a bad experience with the preparation of her tax return at our company. Janis C. contacted us after she had her return reviewed and amended by another tax firm. She agreed to allow us to review the amended return to see what changes were made.
Our office manager reviewed the original return and the amended return and determined that the original return was, in deed, correct. It appeared that the other company had included the same expense in two different places on the return.
We returned the documents to Janis C. with a copy of the original and the amended returns noting where the differences were and asked her to contact us to discuss the matter. To date we have not heard from her. The Tax Center has provided excellent services to the area for 50+ years. We pride ourselves on our customer service, knowledge and accuracy.
