Trying To Get An Extra Payment ($$) From Us

On November 1, 2017, my husband and I refinanced our home and requested to have two months deferred, which we were told before closing was granted.

On the day of closing, our paperwork did not reflect that, which was overlooked by both of us (Our faults).

However, this most significant issue was not just this, the constant losing of paperwork by the company, but that on November 17, 2017, Supreme Lending sold our mortgage to another company that called us on January 1, 2018, requesting December’s payment.

After calling our new lender, they immediately looked into the issue, saying no, don’t pay them. You do not owe them anything. We have your loan as of November 17, 2017.

Also, our loan was sold for what we signed the contract for. Therefore Supreme Lending was trying to get an extra payment ($$) from us.

Please, to anyone who looks into refinancing or doing a cash option from Supreme Lending, Watch out!

  1. I advise anyone whose Realtor recommends Sterns Lending to run very far, very fast.

The most horrible experience I’ve ever had. It started out good with an awesome Loan officer, he made us feel comfortable and at ease with our impending home purchase. Then something happened (not sure what) but he disappeared and our file was handed over to the branch manager. It went from good to bad to worse in the matter of only a few weeks.

First, no one EVER answers the phone… In this kind of deal everything is time sensitive. Things need to be signed, returned and information handed over in a timely manner. No one contacted us after our initial officer left for over two weeks. It wasn’t until I called five times over the course of two days, I finally got a hold of some one.

Then they informed me that the file had been transferred to the manager. They took our money for the appraisal, and then, silence. A week later I tried to call and find out what happened with the appraisal. For three days I called, and called, and called…. Finally I left a not so nice voice mail (my previous voice mails went un- answered) threatening them with legal action.. I got a call back from the manager with in 20 minutes.

  3. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & NO ACCOUNTABILITY

I cannot even describe the frustration and disappointment with this lender. Stay away. My realtor tried to warn me, but it was a referral from a friend, and I had done business with Sterns Bank (totally separate apparently) and so I thought I was in good hands.

Aside from the actual approval, nothing was easy. It was like pulling teeth to get info and numbers when I wanted, the loan officer didn’t lock me in when he should have,

I had to ask for everything two and three times, the process took twice as long as promised (simple matter of overpraising and under -delivering), and they made a mistake on the amounts at closing, caused me to lose out on a $300 credit, and so I had to go back the next day and transfer money.

NOW 2 months later I found out that they messed up my condo insurance!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & NO ACCOUNTABILITY
