I checked the product of Spa Depot and ordered a hot tub cover. I waited for 4 weeks and they never cared to update me on the delivery. So, I sent them an enquiry email asking for the update. They replied me saying that there were holidays and the product will be shipped in few days.
They asked me to wait for few more days. So, I thought of waiting for some more time as I had already waited for a month. However, they never did the shipment. I waited for more than 15 days to call them for an update. This time they asked me to wait for a week.
I was getting furious and more than that impatient. I called them again and asked them to connect me to the supervisor. They told me that he was out for lunch and will call back once return. I hadn’t expected a call after experiencing their carelessness. Surprisingly, he called and told me that the cover was still not prepared to be shipped.
He assured me that he will get things sorted soon. I received a mail saying that the cover was shipped and there was the tracking detail. Finally, they shipped the item but there was no apology for the inconvenience they caused. This clearly shows how customer oriented they are. They do not care about anyone’s time and money.
When I called the courier agent to check with the delivery time, he scheduled a time on the same day between 4PM to 7PM. I got someone to receive the cover. However, the truck did not show up. I called them again and they asked me to call on Monday as it was Friday. They gave me the time for 7:00AM for making the call.
I called them at 6:45 AM to make sure I do not miss the truck only to be informed that the truck leaves at 6:00 AM and the delivery can’t be made on that day.
So, I ended up with all the drama. Though, I received the product and it was nice. But, they are the worse company if we consider how they treat their customer. I had to make many calls and wait for more than month and a half to get the delivery and then I had to match up with these delivery guys who were also irresponsible.
Spa Depot cannot grow with that attitude. It will only lose customers. There is nothing a company can do if it does not care about its customer. Customer experience comes before product quality. The world is changing and if Spa Depot wants to be in the competition, it needs to work on its customer service.
I really feel shame for this company. They lost me as a customer and would lose many others if it continues to be the same way. There is no empathy for its customers. Once the money is received, they take their own time to deliver the product.
