Working with SmartMoney was a big big mistake. I initially was referred to Darren from a good friend and trusted her recommendation.
The first time I talked to Darren was through video conference and he promised me by looking at my numbers, that he can definitely help me.
At first, he wanted to start a second mortgage with my refinance and I was oppose to it.
It was already fishy from the beginning. Then he told me to take a loan out of my 403B account to pay off some cards to increase my credit score which I did. It didn’t work.
I trusted this guy to help me with my finances because I told him that I was hurting really bad and wanted to be smart with my money.
Now that was the last time I’ve heard from him. I spoke with three other representatives telling me that they would get back to me, but never did, and they would always give me the runaround when I speak to them.
This experience with SmartMoney Is just downright terrible.
Not only did they promised to help me, in the end, they left me with another payment to pay every month because I took a loan out of my retirement, created more debt, and told me to call him back in a few months because maybe my credit score will go up.
I’ve been in the customer service Industry for 15 years with a credible Company in Hawaii I would never do this to a customer.
Never go to these guys.
