This Company Is Horrible

Silverton Mortgage is horrible. We are the sellers of a home and the wrote a pre-qualification letter indicating the buyer could purchase the home.

During the 8 week process their communication was horrible.

After 7.5 weeks they deny the loan. The buyer went to another lender and was denied within 24 hours.

The buyer never qualified for the orginal loan amount.

We wasted 8 weeks with this buyer and now have to start again in selling the home.

Silverton Mortgage should have known within days the buyer did not qualify.

If we ever receive a contract indicating Silverton Mortgage as the lender we will deny the contract. We would rate them a -5.

    I have done 2 loans with Silverton Mortgage, a purchase and a refinance. Both closed smoothly, and got a great rate. I recommend them all the time.

    Very bad information. Doesn’t care about your time. Kept asking for paperwork just to be discovered they were asking for all the wrong things. 1 week before closing started asking for things that would take at least 2 weeks to do.

    Won’t answer the phone when you need them, but will blow your phone up when they need something no matter the time of day.
